The Bush administration has rejected the prospect of mass deportations of Muslim illegal aliens.
The administration plans to relay this message to American Muslim leaders amid the current nationwide alert for an Al Qaida attack. Hundreds of Muslims have been detained as illegal aliens as part of a crackdown by federal law enforcement authorities, Middle East Newsline reported.
On Tuesday, FBI Director Robert Mueller will meet American Muslim leaders to discuss federal measures against Al Qaida threats. Muslim groups have filed a class action suit against the government, charging that the Immigration and Naturalization Service has arrested Muslims illegally.
Muslim groups said the millions of Muslims in the United States have been the target of a backlash since the Al Qaida suicide attacks on New York and Washington in September 2001. They said at least 15 Muslims and a Sikh have been killed in attacks around the country.
Officials said Mueller plans to discuss the attacks on Muslims as well as policy toward illegal aliens. They said this will include a law passed over the last year that requires citizens from many Arab and Islamic nations to register with the INS. The procedure also includes photographing and fingerprinting.
Muslim groups have expressed concern that the law will result in the detention and deportation of hundreds of thousands of Arab and Islamic immigrants who arrived illegally or whose visas have expired. The Alliance of Iranian Americans, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, the Council on American Islamic Relations, and the National Council of Pakistani Americans have asked a federal court to issue an injunction to prevent the prospect of mass arrests.
But officials said the administration plans to reassure Muslim groups that special procedures enacted over the last year will be limited to those immigrants regarded as security threats.

What is it about illegal that is misunderstood? Well ya see, it's like this, we have this little problem with a country called Mexico. If you deport ILLEGAL Muslims then we would be obligated to deport ILLEGAL Mexicans as well. But we can't do that because it might hurt somebody's "feelings". And of course they provide sooooo much to the economy dontcha know.

Can't totally agree with the President on this one. A bit tentative, but it's a start.
I totally disagree with the Prez on this one.
To: Mr. Mojo
That's my only beef too.
Hellooo, they're *illegal* for heaven's sake. It's not just the Muslims but all illegal aliens that chap my hide We taxpayers have to give them a free education at the expense of our own children's, give them free health care in the face of skyrocketting costs which so many citizens can't afford, and support them with charities and any welfare benefits they somehow manage to recieve. Sorry, but I'm to the point of shipping the Statue of Liberty back to France along with her inscription because it is causing the US to be taken advantage of -
"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."
It's one thing to come here legally and apply for citizenship (and mean it honorably) but it's a drain on our hospitality for so many to plant themselves here illegally.

Whoa! They're everywhere, they're everywhere! Tell me more about that map and Steven Emmerson. I *assume* this is from his book as that's all I found on a google. How did he document there were terrorist organizations in those cities? What is the purple and the orange?
To: mtbopfuyn
The purple on the map designates the counties that voted for Gore, and the orange for Bush. I guess the purpose is to illustrate that the majority of the Islamoterrorists have set up shop in DemoRAT controlled areas.
I haven't read Emerson's book yet, so I can't tell you his sources.

The Bush administration has rejected the prospect of mass deportations of Muslim illegal aliens.WHY?
Is a cogent explanation from our leaders too much to ask?
I hate being a mushroom!

BUMP!
To: Mr. Mojo
Nope, get into one of those minimal income tax brackets :-D. Shrug. As in Atlas Shrugged...I went from an 90K/yr job to being someone's tax deduction. Wheeeee.
To: Publius6961
Is a cogent explanation from our leaders too much to ask? It's certainly not too much to ask, but it sure is unrealistic. Allowing the flow of illegals to continue to stream into our country is priority #1 for this and every other administration. We're on a suicide mission, and it appears nothing short of divine intervention will be able to stop it.

Looks like Cair and the AMC have the ear of the President even more so than we thought....sad that he allows illegals and the terrorist Fronts free reign in this country, there is no other explanation!

We can do this now, or we can wait for one or two more 9/11 type events to do it. We cannot make peace with Islam. No other government or religion has EVER made peace with Islam. Peace with Islam requires one thing. Total defeat of Islam. If we wait, those that fail to act now will pay a high price politically for their inaction. I assume that for most of them that is more motivating than just saving innocent American lives and our economy.
Before anyone accuses me of besmirching the reputations of any particular politician, I'm referring to politicians in general, of both parties.
To: Alouette
Well done Alouette!!! Well done indeed!!!!
Damn the central government.
The can murder Christian American citizens in Waco, Texas, but do not have the balls to deport criminal foreigners in the united States of America.
Damn the swine traitor sell-out NWO democrats and republicans. They are rotting peas in a pod.
Using our money and our military to create the world acording to whom, and for whom????
To: Jhoffa_
You and I and the rest of taxpaying America are paying for our own funeral, at the hands of those bast***d traitor democrats and republicans.
May they all rot in hell.
To: jonatron
ALL politicians will do ANYTHING to win votes.
To: Republic of Texas
Sounds right to me Texas. How come both of your home-grown presidents, sr., and jr., decided to fly a globalist flag on this one? What's with their promotion of the NWO?????
To: Mr. Mojo
Know your place patriot. In their eyes your just a fool taxpaying drone.
To: unixfox
I can't see why nobody understands that if you don't take action against what is wrong and stand up for what's right that people will take notice of that and it will give them the impression that they have a free ticket to do whatever the hell they want.
To: Alouette
this is the best post in this thread so far.
To: sweetliberty
Great Post.
Once again the system and our elected representatives are stacked totally against us.
What can we do?
This lack of enforcement, angers me to no end.
