US forces find a tunnel underneath Saddam Int'l Airport

Khorramshahr, Khuzestan Prov, April 4, IRNA -- US military forces have discovered a huge tunnel underneath the Saddam International Airport in Baghdad, the Kuwaiti TV channel reported early Friday.

According to the report, the tunnel connects the airport to the Tigris River.

The Pentagon, in its latest briefing, announced that US forces have taken control of Baghdad's international airport.

However, Iraq's information minister forthwith rejected the claim.

Nobody really knows, at least they haven't revealed it to us, who is actually in charge.

I read one article today that said Qusay was sworn in as president when his miserable father died 2 hours after we hit them with the opening salvo 2 weeks ago.

But he's supposed to be in hiding though directing this, albeit badly it seems.

So it looks like the command of Iraq is up for grabs--Qusay doesn't seem to be in control. Maybe he's really gone to meet his 72 Virginians too.

Allow me to add to it. It'll be Friday night over there shortly. And you know kids and Friday night when they've got a set of wheels (or tracks). Time to Cruise the Boulevard. Crank up the boom box, hit on the chicks, etc.

You must have read my mind! I was telling my wife tonight, we should send a bunch of fast moving vehicles straight through town at blazing speed, just to see what the Iraqi's do. If they don't fire upon us, turn back with a bigger force and raise the flag.

I'm no military expert, but that is my tactic in Command & Conquer!

I'm with O'Reilly, who said tonight that we should be like Patton and bust in there breaking stuff and killing people that get in the way. Don't let this Baghdad thing deteriorate into a media war like the situation with the Palestinians.
