when you get to the msnbc site... where do you click? It looks like it is all video... is it really live right now.. or just small play backs of the days happenings...

What I find particularly entertaining about those breaking news blasts in Iraq stories, is that as soon as they put their cameras on the scene, nothing happens.

Nope..this guy was in his hotel and the "Liz" person told him NOT to go to the airport...he said he wouldn't.
He was in a hotel...presumably right next to the camera that does the Baghdad live feed.

Are you sure it was MSNBC?
I was watching a reporter on the CBS feed doing his report over and over saying 3..2..1 between takes.
Said he needed a shower...combed his hair with his fingers and complained about the grease.
To: countre
Should have brought a wind-up alarm clock with him.

Click on the ones that say "Playing now"
They took the Baghdad camera off-line, because that was the one the sleepyhead was jabbering on. You couldn't see him, you could only see Baghdad...but you could hear him loud and clear. It was very humorous.

I fell asleep in my chair last night and woke up at 1 am (Eastern).
I tuned in to MSNBC and heard the most mesmerizing war coverage ever; with (embedded) Bob Arnot. I finally turned in at 2:15 am.
To: 2Jedismom
I don't have cable either - where do I get this live feed?
To: Fred Mertz
Fox right now is showing a large smoke cloud from an explosion at the airport...

Richard Engel, ABC News.Yeah that's who it was, but I saw him on the CBS feed. I've watched his stand up comedy more than once. seems to be a regular occurance.
To: Fred Mertz
Hey, that was good last night. I listened to it vicariously through the thread - Bob was good!

http://www.msnbc.com/m/lv/ Go to that link and click on it when it says "Playing Now". It doesn't right now, they took it down, presumably because the guy was yammering right by the camera!
I actually saw and heard the first strikes on Baghdad. Totally blew me away, because I had the sound way up and explosions were loud!

Greg Kelly reports that seized weapons are being destroyed.... no cause for alarm.
To: 2Jedismom
The same camera is still online with the CBS feed.
