There is Pulaski street in the city I was raised in ( New York) and a Pulaski Highway in the city I now reside (Baltimore).

You can tell the consulate America is aware of the contributions of its Polish friends.

How about hitting the Polish restaurants in town (if you're in a large city like Cleveland or New York) and tellin' 'em you're there because you think so much of Poland!

My father grew up just off Pulaski Street in Newark, NJ, in the heart of the Polish section.

"Pulaski Highway in the city I now reside (Baltimore)."
You may also have traveled on the Pulaski highway in Jersey City, then.

VA has a town named Pulaski as do many other States.

If I remember correctly, we owe the excellency of our Cavalry to the work of General Casmir Pulaski in the Revolution. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-vetscor/865263/posts I don't know where I found a run down on Kosciuszko, too.
