The logistics of 5 million people getting to the airport at once makes it impossible.

I doubt the 5 million people will show up at the airport, unless a peace marcher is doing the counting.

Nevertheless, your point is well noted.

Good heavens - 5 million frenzied people descending on the airport at once? Do you realize how long that security line is going to be?

Somehow, I doubt this is going to be a major problem.

You may get a few dozen that charge the troops.

You will get many many dozens who immediately surrender, asking for protection from the guys who were urging them to go to the airport.

Let's do the math, people.

Earlier today, an Iraqi said that Fedayeen have gone to 'live' with ordinary citizens. That means when the loudspeaker guys tell the citizens to go to the airport, their in-house friendly fedayeen 'minder' puts a gun to their head, and off to the airport they go.

If they did that would be the mother of all marches.

These people have been conditioned over the years to do what they're told, without the gun being pointed at them - because whenever they refused, they were killed or members of their family were killed.

If they get 5,000 citizens to go to the airport, I will be amazed.
