Well I bet Geraldo & Baghdad Peter are a little jealous right about now..

Well, it's still the humane thing to do, to shoot the dogs, and not leave them there. He was right.

This happened about 4 days ago so it's not the first time these Marines Arnot is with had action ! It was gripping then as well :)

I've never heard audio like this from any war. It's without equal in my experience. I've heard old audio from Edward R. Murrow during the war in London, and this is just as compelling, actually this was better, because it was realtime.

It was a hype job. I have not been convinced that this was anything more than a skirmish with a few guys with some AK's.
That is not what the reporter represented.
Not going to argue this further. There was no air support, there was no big battle.

MSNBC reporter at Centcom says that they told him that what Bob encountered sounded like a typical example of a Republican Guard ambush.

Was it Bob Arnot that was televised using the same flu injection needle on 2 morning show hosts? Is it the same guy? Never heard that... but Dr. Weaver on "ER" did that exact thing.
To: ganeshpuri89
He was referring to the civilians, to not leave them their. The Marines said leave them, they were gonna withdraw and lick their wounds, LOL ... they headed on down range I bet.

I think he is floating a story that he rescued PFC Lynch with SF last night...

She brought the idea up to Rummy, Rummy thought abput it for a couple of days, so on top of all her other work he made HER take the whole project! She had to get them all to the mini boot camp, handle the applications, get them where they had to be BEFORE the war started, etc., they have over 700 reporters embedded and she had to handle the whole thing!!!!!!
To: wirestripper
There was no air support, there was no big battle. What do you call a Cobra if not air support?
To: Mike K
Certainly true.

I agree about the commonality of this thread-that woman was irritating as all get out. But you can't blame her completely. They must "go to the talent", ya unnerstan'.
