Sounds like a hell of a firefight going on right now.
Officer said his gunner just took a sniper out.
Arnott says they're engaged right now with the Republican Guard and the Fedayeen.
Sounds hair raising.
Never heard anything like this before...sh!t...
Marines sound like they're kicking the sh!t out of these guys...

I don't think he even realized he said it until he watches the feed

Now you know why the drill instructors are so hard on us. I'm having a good chuckle, and a lot of memories. I was in several engagements exactly like this, one of them almost identical..except it was POWs taking fire that we were protecting...even the cobra overhead. Right about now some staff sergeant is yelling "Somebody wake up Jones !!"
HE HE !Semper Fi !

"Lighten up a bit big guy, This was pretty good coverage IMHO"
I agree. I normally just watch FOX but this is the best coverage I have seen so far. The blonde chick is not Laurie Dhue, however...

Torie Clark's idea to embed the reporters? Wow, amazing. She's so impressive.

My morale went up 10 times the last hour :)

Gee, the people on CNN and Fox seem just a tad demoralized and distracted at the moment. Well, except for Daryn Kagan, who probably doesn't have a clue what just happened.

"We took Iwo Jima. Baghdad ain't sh!t."

If you email him, be sure to ask about the dog.
Let me know if you hear anything..ok?
To: wirestripper
He hyped the s##* out of it. What exactly is your problem? We sure as hell heard a lot of shootin' goin' on or was that just hype or sound effects?
To: Im Your Huckleberry
Correction: I thought it was live, but this is a replay from before.
Still, unbelievable to listen to. Talking about the Iraqi's head exploding...
"We took Iwo Jima, Baghdad ain't shit" according to the officer in command.
Gotta love the Marines, man...

Torie wanted the world to see on film as it happened, so there weren't going to be any lies out there.

It is ! So's the slang. LOL
Then, there's trying to talk to my great nephew ( who thankfully, at 8, has a better grasp of English now ) and my almost 4 year old niece, on the phone.
To: wirestripper
Give the man a pass...he was right there in the midst of it, not you.
To: GBTexan
Well it may not be Sh!t, but it will be he!!, for the Iraqi's.
