Continuous large explosions to the west of Baghdad, on Fox News. German guy in Baghdad told John Gibson it was not at the airport, which is further south. He said that area has government buildings and military installations.

The boys are having a battle with sand fleas. They are being furnished with flea collars which I would guess they are putting around their ankles.

Fox Crawl: Russian Poll 58% want Saddam to win Iraq War, 3% support United States.
Distrubing-- This poll must be taken in San Francisco.

How cool would it be to see an American tank roll by...I'd like to see the marines run by!
I'm dying to see airborne paratroopers floating down in front of our camera!
Someone said they're called "hanky poppers"...I love that!

You've got a bunch of people ahead of you in my office alone.That's the problem. The supply exceds the demand...

An illegal 4,000 would be one that wasn't earned within 24 hours of the start of the thread.Thanks for the info. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. The hero who slapped down the press corps, Gen. Myers, is on Hannity & Colmes tonight. That oughta be good for a few dozen posts.

Annan said he did not think a Security Council appeal for a cease-fire would work.Yes, but what did Jesse Jackson and Jimmy Carter say? (^;
LOL !
John Gibson on FOX News was just talking about the incessant bombing that has been going on in Baghdad the last 40 minutes. They must be getting pelted big time the way he describes it.
The relative ease with which our forces took the Saddam Intl Airport (as confirmed by embedded reporter who stated there 'was little resistance' or to that effect) has some folks afraid. I think Saddam is out of it - dead or badly injured. Ditto for his sons. Nobody that will order the 'ugly' weapons, and so I think they won't (I HOPE).
