Hunt said he had a source. General Paul Vallely who is on Fox all the time, has been saying on other shows (Batchelor & Alexander) that he knew Saddam was dead since the first night. He never says it on Fox however. But I am still not so sure.
To: jbstrick
Say what? Is this the same Col. that someone posted that said Saddam was on life support?

The more we kill, the easier the postwar occupation will be.
I also agree with them that this should be broadcast loud and clear to the Arab world.

Today on a thread someone brought up that Saddam may be in the basement of the Russian embassy since the Russians requested a doctor when the war started to be flown into Baghdad. Today the Russians were in a uproar that bombs fell in the neighborhood of their embassy which several weeks ago they said they had abandoned. Now they say they have diplomats there that could get hurt.

We should be ashamed to have invaded Iraq with such an overwhelmingly lethal force.
No, I mean we should be ashamed to have invaded Iraq with such an inadequate force.
No, I mean, ....er, well, this is all so confusing.

We have the most frightening military in the history of the world. Let's just hope that these Islamikazi wingnuts have the good sense to be afraid.

Killed 10,000, or defeated a force of 10,000 while losing 6? I wasn't listening closely, but I understood the latter.

Yup. General McInerney said this may go down as the most successful war plan,in history.Col. Hunt apparently received an email from someone in the field, detailing the absolute carnage we are inflicting on the RG- "knee deep in body parts, day after day".Gen. McInerney thought this fact should be played down,to keep the Arab Street quiet. Major Bob Bevelacqua disagreed-broadcast this to the Arab world and let the Muslim maniacs flock to Iraq, so we can be done with them once and for all ( probably a generational thing). O'Reilly used the term "slaughter" a lot.All agreed that the days ahead may be tough. All agreed that the coverage on CNN and others,is abysmal and questioned the personal agendas of the retired military generals doing the play by plays.

Major Bob is becoming more adamant lately about what he thinks should be done. Major Bob has always been adamant about what should be done. I think he would be the perfect replacement for Mr. Rogers. He's so no-nonsense.

I really like Colonel Hunt too. He reminds me of a drill sergeant I once knew. Gruff and tough!
Our troops are rolling towards Baghdad. I hope they don't meet with any chemical or biological weapons. Otherwise, GenFranks plan is working out very well. Thank you.
I don't think Fox is repeating any shows during the war coverage.
To: joesnuffy
It SHOULD be publicized all over the Arab world. It'll drive all the fanatics to go to Iraq and get themselves exterminated as well, and it'll strike such fear into the hearts of those who aren't fanatics that they'll choose wisely and remain very peaceful.

I haven't heard anything like this on any of the networks. You'd think they would be reporting it, if true.
Frankly, I've been getting worried because we haven't had any body counts or very many prisoners. I'm not much on the veracity of body counts, but the lack of any information has been bothering me.
I'm old enough to remember the "Tunnels of Chu Chi" in Vietnam and we had no damn idea there were hundreds of miles of them beneath our feet. Saddam's generals have had 12 years to figure out how to survive our air power.
Pray this news is right.
