Gazeta.Ru has obtained sensational evidence proving the involvement of a group of former Soviet generals in preparing the Iraqi army for war against the United States. I hope the Iraqis put a non-performance clause in their contract.

Given the outstanding performance of their pupils, these Russians should start looking for the exit before their employer gets his hands on them. He might want more than just the tuition fee refunded!

I wonder if they should have gotten " a special award" along the same lines as the one in the Christmas story? Since there performance has been stellar.

the ceremony was held ''less than 10 days before the beginning of the war'' in a building that was destroyed by US cruise missiles in the first few hours of air raids on Baghdad. Nuff said.

They were presented with Iraq's highest award due to them going over and above the call of duty and extending Iraq's defense for oh.........5 additional seconds.

LOL! The Russian generals were shocked at what we did during "Desert Storm I". For years they were told they could stomp the US in a ground war. Which was a lie. About as real as their fake "May Day" missiles they used to parade each year.
Russia Smushia....

Retired Gernerals just like the one's CNN has each nite, They know much about "nothing" and just collecting a paycheck like these russian's. I am not concerned. Iraq is done with them or without their help. Russia sure knows how to suck hole for "CASH"

To: Heartlander2
The reason the ex-generals didn't want to tell the reporter WHY they were getting awards is due to the piss-poor performance of the Iraqis. They don't want to hide their role because the world will be angry (after all, there were sanctions against Iraq that, uhmm, the Russian government is supposed to follow). They want to hide their role because they're utter failures. It's hard to get new work if your resume says I helped train the totally defeated Iraqi army.
To: Billthedrill
Don't forget the guy who trained the artillery in S.Iraq to fire calibration rounds in "kill zones" near the mine fields.
It sure was nice of him to allow us to get the position and range of the Iraqi artillery for the MLRS.

The content of their advising was leaked out, went something like this:
(I)raqsky: What shud we du when Amerikansky attack us?
(R)usky General (Retarded): First you duck, let them come closer, then shut!
(I) May the Alloha bless your illegitimate children. Thank you for impotent strategik advaisse.
(R) Glad to help to liberate you country. Por some more of that non-alcoholik vodka, na zdravie!
(I) No problem komcrade! Na zdravie of our eternal viktory!
(R) Uhm, you got any medals or awards, we would like to bring some home to impress our wifes.
(I) No problemsky! Here is the award and picture with cardboard SoDumb, smilesky!
(R) Spasibo Iraksky brothers. We will watch your heroic sloter of Amerikanskys, may your camels protect you here and in the virgin heaven.
(I) Spasibo Rusky brothers for your support of that idiot Blix and his stupid inspectorkys, we miss them.
(You gotta learn to read between the lines :-)
To: Heartlander2
Well, then I'd say they've done quite a job.
Russia might want to rethink any battle plans for conventional warfare against the U.S.
