Cyber Funeral For A Friend (Who's nofriendofbills)

My fellow FReepers. Occasionally it is our duty to report to you the passing on, in a Freeping sense, of a long term member. Sometimes they take the honor upon themselves, by means of an Opus thread.

Sometimes, they do this repeatedly, since they keep coming back.

Other times, the opus must be provided for them. I am taking the opportunity to opus the following account:

nofriendofbills

nofriendofbills joined us back in 1998. nofriendofbills was more conservative than any of us; he would tell us so if we doubted it.

nofriendofbills was so conservative that the Republicans just would not do.

Very conservative. Loved to point out how conservatives like nofriendofbills were opposed to Republicans, especially those like President Bush. It's About The Republic, Not The Republican.

Undoubtably, there are true conservatives who think the Republicans are following the wrong strategy or have strayed too far from conservatism. But somehow, I doubt that they would say things such as this:

nofriendofbills will be taking leave of us now. I am sure it won't be the last we will see- the last time the account was suspended for personal attacks and vulgarities whoever it really is signed up other names (which were found and deleted).

But I just wanted to give this one a proper sendoff, rather than letting his last post get ignored on a zot thread many wouldn't see. After all, since whoever it is spent 5 years crafting that persona-- an "uberconservative" who hates Bush, Reagan, southerners, neocons, Christians, Republicans, and especially Freepers, it would be a shame if no one cared what happened to it.

It's decent of you to post an Opus thread for him. I noted on the ZOT! page his passing. I guess when he said "Now BAN me!" you took him at his word.

Still, it's sad to see an old FReeper go. Even one as unpleasant as nofriendofbills.

He joins the Pantheon of Greats. The FReepers who just couldn't toe the line. Tuco-Bad, DITHF, so many others.
