RE: How about Iran while we are in the neighborhood!
Only if we can spare the ammo. Syria has ticked me off more lately.

Hell's bells, the use of Helen Thomas for ANYTHING is banned by both Popular Mechanics and Recycling Today.
She did, however, get a nice review in Modern Senility.

I know the generals know what they are doing, but I still have a bad feeling. Could these scum have boobytrapped the entire city? They wouldn't care if a few million of their own people died. I'm a little worried about that too. But if you or I can think of it then surely the generals can. I pray that we have had agents inside Baghdad for quite a while looking for exactly this kind of thing.

Your picture got me thinking.. you know that probably bugs these Muslim fanatics the most is that while they are taking their last breath it is a inferor WOMAN (to them) they see flying a plane or chopper dropping the bombs on their head.
That is probably worse than being stuffed full of hot dogs.

Those would be the quagmired, lost troops that the valiant and manly fighters of the Iraqi army destroyed.

Well, an 'inferior' woman dropping liquid pig grease on them before the FAE ignites them would be worse.

Probably; I assume our folks have a clue to be careful for such things due to the tricks so far though. It still might be pretty dangerous.

It says something about our instant-gratification addicted society, that people start getting antsy if it looks like a war will take over 2 weeks to finish.

That's really clever and rough and tough sounding, but I really hope you aren't serious in thinking that we can win our strategic objectives by using thermonuclear bombs on Baghdad.
