Does anyone have any ideas where we can send PFC Lynch some Get Well cards and such?
Seeing her pictures really hit me, and I want to send her a card to let her know that she has people out here praying for her.

As far as I'm concerned, I want them all to get well.
Got an address to send one to ALL of them? God bless Lynch, but she wasn't the only one.

I know she's not the only one Ill, but looking at her face was like looking at one of my own Daughters.
For some reason, that just hit me like a slam to the gut.
We don't know what kind of torment these Animals put her through, and I guess I just feel like I want to send her something, in particular.
My youngest Daughter has been making cards to send to Troops at large (for a 5 year old, she is quite the little artist).
However, I don't disagree with you about the Troops at large, PFC Lynch just hit something a wee bit more particular.
I hope that makes sense.

When she finds out that her comrades didnt make it...all the attention is gonna feel awefull for her..
Keep praying and give her some time...she is gonna need it...all the attention just might make her feel worse...
Shes a down home girl and I suspect pretty humble..

I agree, Baltar. I can't even look at her picture without beginning to cry. I think the reality of seeing her there brings home all the losses we have sustained over there.
But more importantly, her rescue represents the core difference betweent the US forces and the Iraqi war criminals. We put the lives of 20 or 30 troops on the line to save one person. Does anyone seriously think they would do the same? On the contrary, they'd kill 20 or 30 THOUSAND just to save one fat-cat named Hussein.
Let us know if you find out how to send her a message.

I understand the feeling--although for me it just makes me angry that our p.c. military administrators have created such a horrible policy whereby we have to contemplate the idea of female POWs--but I guess for me, personally, this story has been done to death.
At least this girl will go home. Many, many of our male POWs will not, it seems.
And those who will, are just as important, even if not as cute.

I vote that FR begin a campaign to have her be dubbed as "America's Little Sister." I know that's part of why her situation touches me so. I sort of see her that way. OK, it's a guy thing.

They do the opposite. They put the lives of hundreds of innocents on the line to save a handful of brutal thugs.
These people are the epitome of evil, and it is only justice that they are destroyed.

Just called Byrd's office. The gal took my phone number and said they'd call back as soon as they get an address where we can send mail to Jessica Lynch.

I will Meister.
I really feel like she needs to see some kind of support, because we'll probably never know everything she went through at the hands of these vile creatures.
My Oldest Daughter thinks I've snapped because I keep walking up and just holding her. Just the idea of her going through what PFC Lynch went through

See if the esteemed Senator Byrd's office can help. 1-876-762-8762How can this palsied old fart help with anything...of signifance? He should have been sent back to WVa eons ago!
I've said this about Arkansas regarding their reelecting the Klintons their goobernor, and I'll say it about West Virginians about their sending this goober to Washington time and time again....
THANKS FOR VOTING FOR A LEFTIST IDIOT(S)!

The fact that he didn't have ready access to the info is a sign of how out of touch Byrd is.

GSC, not to jump to Byrd's defence or anything, but maybe they had the same view that was expressed earlier, that maybe they didn't want to have PFC Lynch deluged by stuff.
Just a thought...
