GSC, not to jump to Byrd's defence or anything, but maybe they had the same view that was expressed earlier, that maybe they didn't want to have PFC Lynch deluged by stuff.

Apparently that's not the case, and Byrd should have known that. It looks like after her status as MIA that the local post office agreed to accept submissions. The email address is probably a new one for this purpose, too.
