Islamist: al-Qaida holds coalition troops

LONDON, April 2 (UPI) -- A Muslim fundamentalist source claimed Wednesday that Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network captured five coalition troops in Iraq.

The source who requested anonymity told United Press International by telephone that the kidnapping of four U.S. troops and a British soldier, took place last Saturday in al-Zubair region of southern Iraq, close to the Kuwaiti border.

He said the "kidnapped troops will be equally treated as al-Qaida prisoners held in Guantanamo Bay."

He said al-Qaida will soon release a videotape of the captured soldiers and will ask to swap them with al-Qaida suspects being held by the United States.

This is not possible since the Democrats and French have assured us that Al-Quaeda and Iraq do not operate together.

If they are treated as well as those people in Cuba I will donate my next paycheck to PETA.

woof woof. The night is coming to an end, folks, and the dawn's light will find Al Qaeda on the same dung heap as Saddam's Fedayeen and the Republican Guard. The claim that OBL's goat molesters hold a few of our troopies may or may not be true. What IS true is that it doesn't matter. Their days are numbered.

This can't be. "Everyone knows" that al-Qa'ida and Iraq have absolutely NOTHING to do one with another.

Not the left wing. They think Rush Limbaugh is behind it all.

Do you know of a mideast country in which the Al-Quaeda is not welcomed with open arms?

I don't really think the left or Rush is an authority on anything al-Qaeda related.

If this is remotely true, then they are hiding in Iran.

If true-al-Qaeda is doing what it said it will do. Enter Iraq as its two enemies fight (secular leftist regimes and America) and set up camp for strikes on Coalition forces at al-Qaeda's time of choosing.

al Queda is an arm of Terror International funded partially by Saddam. Removal of the King of Terror will also destroy al Queda. There is no doubt that Saddam and aQ are NOT enemies in the face of the Great Satan.

Swallowing the bilge of the leftmedia is dangerous to your health.

Saddam had nothing to do with al-Qaeda or its rise-hell the CIA gave Osama and his allies more money and trainingduring the 80s than Saddam gave to Osama through out his regime combined. Saddam pays out money to terrorists but to different groups--not to al-Qaeda.

But But But...the leftist media says over and over that Saddam is secular, not religious, that Al Qaeda hates him, that he has no links to terrorism, that he wasn't involved in 9/11 or anthrax, there's no evidence...

Even if the report is false, Al Qaeda is claiming they operate in southern Iraq. So how many big lies has our media been foisting on us....hmmmm.

al-Qaeda said it would enter Iraq in the wake of the chaos the invasion created.

What these radical people fail to understand about America is this - our military people would use a cell phone (if given one) to call down a strike on these people - willingly risking their own life - to destroy these people.

Cowards always misunderestimate the strategery of the strong!!
