I was wondering why she was not able to do that already. Maybe she was in surgery? Just thought it odd that they didn't let her call or someone near call her parents.

My cat is at the Vet right now. :-(

That's the point of sending a PICTURE.
You keep the pets.
(We have three cats here, too....)

I wish you the best of luck but if you think college is a place to get away from dumb people you are kidding yourself.

Don't you just love the face of a young Republican?? Even my 'liberal' daughter likes Bush and supports the war. There is hope....

Good to hear about St. Joe's. I went to Auburn University. To give you an idea of the "diversity" of opinion on that campus, in the 1988 presidential race, 95% of the students voted for Bush while 95% of the professors voted for Dukakis. Funny story: William Buckley came a spoke in 1989. When presented with these facts, he replied, "Given what Winston Churchill said:
If you are young, and not a liberal you are without a heart. And if you are old and not conservative, you are without a brain
I must conclude that Auburn is an institution of heartless students being taught by mindless professors."

You'll have to forgive me if I don't think the idea of printing out a picture of my cats so that someone can shoot at it is a good one.

What is an easy Psalm that an 7 year old would understand .. the ones I am coming up with are going waaaaaaaaaay over her head ..
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalm 56:2-4)
My daughter learned this verse when she was about your daughter's age and it is still her favorite verse. I hand-lettered that verse for her and put it under her pillow for the times she was afraid at night.

Why do they have guards stationed outside the plane? They've never done this with the other patient deliveries. likely a sign of respect and honor. imagine, for a moment, what she has sacrificed for her country.

Oh, don't forget 1) a snow shovel 2) a chair (preferable an old, ugly dinette chair) or other large object to mark your parking space after you dig it out...
Back in the day when I lived in Chicago, people would put two sawhorses in their parking spot, then tie a cord to each of them and tie the other ends to the pin of a hand grenade. That kept the bestids out pretty well.
