What sick bestids they are.
I like how you pronounce that word. It makes me think of my sister's mother-in-law who lives in Maine.
Pronouce it any way you like. (g)

I'm going into the honors program and the average SAT there is 1350, so Im assuming there will be a greater percentage of intelligent people there, but yes Im sure there will be some not-so-smart ones tooYou're welcome, and good luck. Remember, though, that there are many people who are very learned in theory, yet have a tin ear for experiment (reality). High SATs, or excellent marks, do not a wise person make.

True, I wasnt assuming that, just saying it weeds out the "less intelligent", but I know it doesnt equate with intelligence all the time
Honestly I'd just liek to find a few people who are my age, well read, well educated, and interested in politics...
To: Consort
NO....Bestids is a word my grandpa used. HIS word for something else. (g)
To: Wyatt's Torch
Some of the "smartest" people I know are so devoid of common sense that they are worthless to society. Humm the name Hillary just came to mind..

I was being facetious. Either word applies well.

Been thru the honors system in college. I found the most liberal, hateful people there. But I do have to say some of the professors in that program were also pretty decent. I didn't agree with their politics, but they were willing to give credit where credit was due.

belly girl -> it's why they fight. we're still looking for a poster boy...men in uniform, poster boys all
I don't have a problem with that at all and wouldn't mind seeing some beautiful muscle pics posted (if I have time tonight, I'll search too). The only thing I objected to was posting a pic of 'belly girl' before a pic of Jessica Lynch. It seemed to show the priorities and mindset of some of the posters.
If Jessica had shown some skin, 'belly girl' would have been forgotten. I think that is sad.

If you are going to that part of the country, you'l find some folks interested in politics...just maybe not your kind. Good luck and enjoy. It is truly a great time.

Post the kitty pic.
Printed out, it will make a GREAT .22LR target.

I don;t mind a little debate though, a dissenting opinion is what makes college great, winning the day because your ideas are superior
Plus, St. Joes is a (relatively) small Jesuit School which is pretty conservative. (I'll put it this way, I flew up to visit it a couple of weeks back, there were more pro-war demonstratoions than anti-war written about in the Student Newspaper)

Winter in Green Bay is always a delight. If the wind isn't doing a straight shot from Hudson Bay to our front window, it's snowing.
retrokitten, someday we'll discuss our various levels of outerwear, from -16 to 75.

I don't find that funny. They are my pets.

Why do they have guards stationed outside the plane? They've never done this with the other patient deliveries.

She's half way home. I hope she has a chance to call her folks.

retrokitten, someday we'll discuss our various levels of outerwear, from -16 to 75.That could be a whole thread in itself. I found this old e-mail, "You know you are from Chicago when..." and one of them is "You have used the a/c and the heat in the same day", that one applies to Green Bay and Milwaukee, too, I am sure! LOL!
