Well, we don't know how much of this stuff is for public consumption and what goes on in private.

They wouldn't believe it. Would just blame it on a rightwing coalition supporting President Bush.

Anyone catch the Russian defense minister last night? Heard him quoted as saying that global "security is coming apart at the seams" and that they "would have to increase their defense spending" to compensate...
He also said that the Iraqi army still had some fight left, and the outcome was in no way certain...
Didn't we hear the same kind of stuff back in '91 & GW1?
Well for all the MSNBC bashers, please not that they are the only channel still showing Ari's news conference. Shep is babbling and now has a guest telling us the same things we have heard 100 times before. CNN spewing their typical spin, unable to allow the administration to speak without being filtered by Judy or Wolf.

My mother reads the local "DEMOCRAT" paper. She believes every word these "liberals" print.

in hopes that the export market for T-72's may still be open somewhere. Micronesia? Paraguay?

Nice story an another thread about an Iraqi women being assisted by US servicemen in giving birth at a US medical "facility". Grandma wanted her to name the baby Americana but she chose Rogenia. I'd link it but I don't know how. Guess we are not killing all the women and children.

I spend my time at the tube flipping from MSNBC, Fox & CNN. I find that MSNBC's coverage is more thorough than Fox and CNN and they have a distinct edge on breaking news.

Sounds like a great Saturday Night Live skit...

I'm curious about something. Does James Carville still slime onto CNN each evening? I've never seen his show just photos of him on FR with trashcans on his head. Is he being pre-empted by this war? Might explain some of CNN's bitterness as they can't spew forth propaganda through their normal venomous spout.
