Some of these gals appear to have had either laser teeth whitening or cosmetic dental work,like porcelain veneers.The result is teeth that appear too perfect,too white and too large for their mouths.The prefection is very distracting. Instead of calling them the " Talking Heads ", I call them the " Talking Teeth ". Many of these female reporters have such a hard edge and nasty attitude,no matter how attractive the package.

I also don't get the idea that they thought we all thought this was going to be a cake walk. Bush has clearly stated the case that this would take a long time! Great post! I also heard President Bush state that this war would be one of sacrifice and loss of life and might take a long time but that in the end we will prevail. I guess the liberals and the carping generals weren't listening.

I just don't understand the mindset of these idiots. After GWI, people got spoiled, and now expect immediate battlefield results, regardless fo what the CINC and the ACTIVE DUTY Generals and military planners say. "Are we there yet?" "How many more miles?"

For any of you with DoD decals on your vehicles, I just got this from one of my former coworkers down in San Diego:

The CID mission includes not only investigating crime, but assisting the command/community in identifying crime-conducive areas or conditions which affect the safety and security of personnel and equipment within this command. This flyer is a crime prevention service to the command. Below is a situation we feel worthy of dissemination.

2. SUMMARY OF INFORMATION: On 27 Mar 03, this office received information indicating DoD personnel whose privately owned vehicles are identified with a Department of Defense (DoD) registration decal should make all attempts to avoid any Anti-war protest. The information disclosed that a DoD family member while driving her vehicle and stuck in traffic was identified as having a DoD sticker. At the time there was an anti-war protest under way. When her vehicle was observed by the demonstrators, a member of the group yelled out "war bitch" and her vehicle was immediately surrounded. While some of the members pounded on her vehicle with their fists, others "keyed" it and wrote the word "peace" on the paint finish.

3. It is recommended DoD personnel should avoid these protest at all cost. Even though the protesters proclaim on National TV that they support the military members involved in the war in Iraq, there are numerous members of the various Anti-war groups who do not share this view and will assault DOD members once they are identified.

I like the idea of having a slew of warplanes fully armed, a Special Ops or Marine outfit ready to roll, looking for trouble and giving the 24X7 evil eye to Syria, the Saudis and Iranians. We can share a base with the Brits on that piece of land south of Basrah that the Iranians greedily gaze at with their lovesick scowls and baselessly claim as their own.

I also agree w/women NOT on fronts. But we have a total volunteer military now because there are so many women in the support roles.... so the men can be on the front.

There are many women who can whip the butts of many men in the service. It is a hard issue.

The military is a profession of honor.. I guess that is the point I was partially trying to make. And one can be feminine & do there par.t

My father was also a WWII pilot, flying B-29's. I'm ashamed to say I don't know where he was based at the time. I have his Army Air Corps identification card in it's original case. Inside are two press clippings and letters from chaplains notifying him of the deaths of two of his brothers. One died flying B-29's between Singapore and India and the other during his service in the Navy. I was so lucky to have him near me until he died a few years ago at the age of 83.
