Has Hannity 86ed David Hackworth

Has Sean Hannity axed his daily updates by Col. Hackworth?
If not he should. I would bet good money he is the unnamed Col. calling Rumsfeld "McNamarra Redux" cited in The New York Times, and questioning the war srategy. He has shown his disdain for Rummy in the recent past. But I bet he didn't go into detail unless under the condition of anonimoty with the times in order to preserve his talk show circuit gig during the war. He seeks relevancy when his time is long past. He hasn't served since Vietman. He has been long been a critic of the brass at the pentagon going back to Desert Storm. Possibly due to his retirement without stars on his shoulders. He was outspoken on his opposition to the war for strategic reasons. He said that our troops lacked proper training for chem and bio-warfare. The attack has far too well for him as he has been proven wrong over and over again.
Hackworth is a hack.

Has Hannity 86ed David Hackworth?
A little off topic, but when I see people using '86' as a metaphor for death or killing, I like to point out the name of the French abortion pill RU486. Say the name with the inflection of a question and you'll see what I mean. I know its a french invention, but I think it was designed with the American market in mind, so yes, I do think it was done intentionally.

I have a feeling that Hack is "benefitting" from the nationwide fire-sales on Grey Goose Vodka - (Grey Goose = Made in France!)
In other words, he enjoys a bit of lunch & dinner with his Grey Goose.................

No RU486 is the scientific name for Roussel Uclaf compound 486. As one who works in the drug industry I can tell you that numbers are assigned to compounds for their order in the discovery queue and for initail clinical trials. 86 is an old term meaning trash or junk. Max Smart was agent 86!

Wonder if he's married? Between this question and people speculating about Shep at FNC, I don't know. Inquiring minds want to know.

I haven't heard anything about Shep. He doesn't bother me even if he is gay. It is the tight lipped arogance that some gay men project that I find so distasteful. Shepherd Smith is open, pleasant and very likeable.

Hack was on to some definite problems in the Army in Viet Nam but he turned it into some wierd all-about-him cult. His last book I couldn't finish. It was way too self-serving and intemperate. Would you want YOUR kid to grow up to be like him?

"He looks very gay, to me."
Okay, let's get the facts straight. Gay is a word that was never meant to describe a queer. Somebody somewhere attached that name to describe the effeminate behavior of many of these people. Unfortunately, we can't have it back.

Hackworth was long gone by the time Rumsfeld became SECDEF during the Ford administration in 1975. He's not shy about going on the record and insulting Rumsfeld, who, incidentally, retired as a Navy Captain, same rank as Hackworth. I would guess that most of these unnamed critics of Rumsfeld are either active duty or retired Army officers. Rummy doesn't care for the Army and many of its general officers.

"What is it with this Hackworth? He's always dressed in black and reminds me of those cultists who killed themselves in San Diego awhile back who were also dressed in black if I recall correctly."
LOL -- I always wondered who Hackworth reminded me of!

OK, Hackworth has a kind of effeminate, tight lipped arrogance that I have come to associate with homosexuals. Is that better?

Correct! On Hewitt's show last week (immediately after being very positive on Hannity), Hack talked about Rummy being an idiot, and compared Rummy and McNamara.
