What you say sounds about right. But, unless memory fails me, FReepers here were watching his broadcast and said he was surrounded by soldiers when he drew his map. If it was as big a deal as so many armchair warriors say it is wouldn't they have thought so? And if they did think it was over the line does that mean the USMC doesn't have a gunney with enough nerve to shut down his broadcast? I sure don't think so.

Whoraldo was with 101st, that's army. I recall Whoraldo drawing in the sand but I don't remember troops standing around, at least not in the background. I know I would have asked what the hell he was doing if I had been standing there regardless if he was on camera

Get a clue. Whether he's an embed or not I can assure you someone with horsepower had a heart to heart with him on what he could talk about.

Well, since we're on the discussion about fashion, here's something that explains Torie Clark's fashion sense.
