The only "controversy" was the left wing, as usual, attacking a true hero.
Ollie thwarted Congress and was doing nothing illegal. He thought on his feet and did this country proud defeating Commie thugs in Central America.
Democrats don't like that. F them!

A female POW from the gulf war was interviewed last week. She mentioned that the sexual abuse was not limited to women.. she also said that you are trained that abuse is abuse. It is all degrading & difficult. We must pray for her to find the right people to be with her in this journey or recovery physically, emotonally / mentally & spiritually

I agree completely, Im just saying he's come out the winner in the end, redeeming himself in every way, there's no way the left can criticize him now (though they will anyway if the can)
To: DollyCali
She mentioned that the sexual abuse was not limited to womenCase in point: Lawrence of Arabia

I'm huggin' my little ones more these days. Brings it home, doesn't it? The POWs, MIAs, KIAs, this wonderful rescue, but the downside of the bodies...
I need to call my mother and apologize for not writing more often from 'Nam. As a dad, I now understand better what she must have been going through.
To: Warren_Piece
Well they don't want to rush into to much guessing while remains are being identified and families notified.

I saw that interview with the female former POW. She said they abused her...but they didn't kill her. The training kicked in and all she cared about was surviving. And she did. Bless her heart.

Talking about how much he loves beign in the field, seeing our men work, marvelling at their intelligence, maturity, skill and compassion for the civilians... very moving...
To: ztiworoh
Funny, that grandstanding John Warner was on hyping the "good news" and correctly attacking the idiots in the press standing next to Rummy...
But John was instrumental in Ollie's defeat for Senate in 1994. I'll never forgive that RINO John for that. He's only jumping in front of cameras because he has legitimate military credentials.
But so does that weasel John Kerrey.
I don't like Warner and never will.

" have no problem with women contributing, e.g., on AWACS, supply, etc. It's just that as the risk of capture goes up, my willingness to put them at risk goes down."Jessica Lynch is a supply clerk. That's her MOS.
She was a supply clerk on the ground, in Iraq, in an area that had a significant risk of capture.
I'm just expressing my opinion. You all that are women, or are husbands or fathers, you all can make your own peace, etc. I'm not trying to change the world, just my part of the world.

It means the owner of the website has a certain limit on how much data can be moved through their website. Once they hit their limit the transfer of data stops and you get a little notice.
To: Warren_Piece
I suspect that FoxNews is honoring the wishes of the military re. the lost POWs and the others are not. Patience.
Nice post, Warren - we are coming.
FN: Ollie North re. the Marines he's with in Iraq: "There's only 5 other people I'd rather be with...that's the woman I married and the 4 children she's caring for."
