Bret Baier was the only one there in a coat and tie. Was this my imagination, or is he the only one who shows the proper respect to these fine gentlemen defending our country?

Bret is one of the good guys. Saw him in a one-on-one interview with Rummy a few weeks ago, and you could see the admiration in his face and hear it in his voice with every question he asked Rummy. He treated Rummy with the respect he deserves.

I get a hoot out of seeing his reports on Brit Hume's Special Report - I call it the Brit-Brets.
