President Bush headed to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania today to speak about Homeland Security and Operation Iraqi Freedom to a crowd that included many Coast Guard members. The President thanked the Coast Guard for their duty in Operation Liberty Shield, and praised their readiness. Bush also took the opportunity to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces who are serving in Iraq. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

"He is my President AND
Commander in Chief on the days I serve."
Thank you for your service! [-- yet another 'soldier' who looks great in his uniform!]

I know.
Sigh.

Doesn't it look like the Prez has shed a tear in a few of the pics? He's a mushy one for sure, but it does seem like one rolled down his cheek.

Ohio, you probably already know this, many people have already told you and will continue to tell you, but you and Mr. O have raised a wonderful young man. From what you tell us, he is a very kind, caring, and compassionate person.
I hope you get that phone call soon.

There was an article in the local rag where a young married woman was out with a obtuse sign praying for peace in the middle east, but has a spouse in-theatre. I guess her heart is torn between espousing the DNC talking points and hoping that he kicks some *** and get's home.

The one and only sign they had said "I support the Troops. Just bring them home." I don't remember if that was the exact phrase, but it was something to that extent.

You better, if you know what's good for you.
As a side note, anyone else see the media wench on CNN and the perpetual sneer on her face while talking about Dubya. (I had to see her sourpuss while at the gym working out...) Yech!

He did get teary eyed during the speech........ you can always tell when he has to sniff a little bit later!
He has such a tender heart......I don't know how he handles the gravity of the job he has without having it break.
