It's the only liaison America has to Iran.

homocide bomber no doubt.

Hard to believe this could occur without some Iranian govt./Revolutionary Guards o.k. Maybe a statement about Basra. We'll see. Very sad.

It's fascinating they are having such a difficult time exporting this kind of terror successfully. They still have to blow up stuff in their own back yard.
My brother is a flight attendant and used to be concerned about t stinger taking out his flight while taking off or landing. I pointed out that the bad guys would love to do that, and yet the only way they've even been able to attempt it is in Yemen. Again, in their own territory.
The war IS on terrorism is quite successful since 9/11.

I think the terrorists are going to spread this war into other countries. At least they'll try.
To: RobRoy
Well, they almost succeeded in Kenya a few months ago, but the Israeli plane they targeted had defenses.

They have been trying - just not very successfully yet.

Fortunately, there have been a lot of "almosts." We seem to be keeping them at bay, so far.
It must be very frustrating.

Actually, when I said Yemen, I meant Kenya. And even then, they were not successful, as you pointed out.

Moving targets don't seem to be their forte. Embassies, Trade Centres, moored battleships....

My prediction: Iranian students will flock to the British Embassy and hold a candle light vigil for the victims. They will then be beaten and tortured by the Iranian secret police. The western media will report none of this.
