WTF Is Geraldo doing?
Posted on 03/30/2003 8:48:09 PM PST by lewislynn
This is the third night I've seen Geraldo giving the location of his company and mentioning the new supply route to the west.
Three nights ago he gave his location by miles. So many miles north of Q8 and so many miles south of Baghdad and so many miles west of ?....
Now he's drawing their war plan in the sand.
I'll put Geraldo in the Peter Arnett category (is anybody really surprised at his treason?).
I went to the FOX website but can't find the e-mail address...I'm pissed.

I agree with a lot of post on two points about Geraldo.
He is not in any way, shape, or form, to be compared with that treacherous leech, Peter Arnett.
He was profoundly impacted by 9/11, and wants to see the bad guys get it bad.
He is still a showman and an entertainer first. That often makes his reporting a little over the top, but I do admire his courage and zeal to cover the story, and his support of the troops.

As for Geraldo, I think he's showboating. I usually get very annoyed watching his reports. Geraldo is LOVING it. Who knows. He may be putting out false info. OTOH, probably even SH knows he is more mouth than fact.

I agree re Geraldo. He has changed significantly since 9.11. Sometimes I think he almost likes Bush. He certainly supports this war, wholeheartedly.

My jaw hit the floor when I heard him give the plan away with times and locations. I was wondering if any one else saw this and was as shocked as I was? What is Fox thinking? Geraldo and FOX both know the rules. Be assured that the military and Geraldo are on the same page.

"Thank you all -- I was beginning to wonder if I was the only conservative left who could see through Geraldo's phony sincerity." He's still scum. Pre 9/11 and post 9/11. He's a womanizer, sleaze, etc. Terrible human being, IMHO.

I keep expecting to hear him interview my boy during those episodes.
Fortunate are those folks who actually do get to see their sons.

While he gets under my skin, apparently he has built a very good rapport with the troops and is an encouragement to them. He gets under my skin also but I believe he is truely appreciative of the troops and would do NOTHING to risk that relationship or their lives.

"Fortunate are those folks who actually do get to see their sons." I agree -- to see your son or daughter safe, and on TV, in Baghdad is indeed a privilege (compared to other parents who won't get to see their kid(s) until they return home, months later).

How does anyone know if GR is telling the truth or purposely giving misinformation to the enemy?
