Operation: Infinite Freep; Stillwater, MN; 3/30/2003

Posted on 03/30/2003 7:58:59 PM PST by AlexMnWi

A bunch of us were up at the Stillwater bridge from 11-3 today, while the hippies were only there from 1-2. We got A LOT of honks, waves, and thumbs-up, and only two flick-offs. In two instances, a man and a woman would be in a car. The men honked to show support and the women flashed the peace sign, which seemed a bit odd. Anyway, the antis were a block down from us, and often, people would honk for us and then stop when they got to the antis. The antis actually behaved quite a bit: they didn't stage a die-in, throw things, block traffic, or confront us, which was nice. It was probably because there were about 20-30 of each group. I'm not sure if the other people there were FREEPers or not, because I think they coordinated it with a Yahoo group. I took about 12 pictures before my batteries died so I don't have any pics. I had a good time at my very first pro-America rally. Too bad I missed the capitol rally on the 22nd.

"the peace sign"

Perhaps you confused it with the Victory sign? You know 2 fingers in the shape of a V for Victory? :) Good Job!

Colorado FReeper Bump!!

Way to go Stillwater!!

Stillwater has a special place in my heart. My wife is a River Falls native and we got married on a paddle boat on the St. Croix in Stillwater. I lived in R.F. for 8 years and still miss the fishing and deer hunting.

Glad to see some FReepers are active up there. Give the leftists hell for me!! Stand up to those pukes, let them know they are not patriots and are helping Saddam.

All the Best!

Great job! It means a lot to people in the military and their families to see the flags, the yellow ribbons and good people like you out there rootin' for them.
