These are the same critics that deride honesty, integrity, and patriotism as being passe and out of step with modern times. The same ones who think Bill Clinton is still President.

Interesting, I had never heard of him until he showed up on CNN. I just don't understand how anybody at CNN that watches his program can think it's a good idea to have him doing the war coverage. Of course, they must have a problem judging talent as we can see by their ratings going in the tank. Only Aaron Brown could make a war seem dull!

FNC, if you are listening, please find ways to offer your channel to the masses cheaper than $400 per year! Thats what it takes now to get FNC via DirecTv or DishNetwork for FNC plus (99 channels of crap). For you Fox deprived folks out there, XM Satellite Radio is a way to get Fox and much more ($9.95 a month) at home, in your car or on a boom box. It is high quality audio only (no video). It is coast to coast.
I have had it for a year and a half and it is fabulous.

Amen! When the hotels call the cable company to complain about no FNC, I assume it makes a bigger impact.

We know as hubby is a FCC licensed 2 way radio sr FTR trouble shooter. Local judge has ruled in the park's favor more than once.Means nothing. Ham radio hobbyists deal with "local judges" like yours all the time who think their ignorance overrules federal law regarding antennas of various sorts. It doesn't. His "rulings" are null and void. I say buy your dish and set it up; if the local sheriff shows up at the request of the park and removes it, you'll have a major-league lawsuit against both the park and the county.
You may want to pick through this site:
http://www.remote.arrl.org/FandES/field/regulations/antenna-restrictions.html
While it's aimed at ham radio operators (and the text on that page about rental/lease restrictions does NOT apply to you), it may lead you to a lawyer willing to take your case pro bono. Ham radio lawyers really love raking jerkoff landlords and power-mad local cops and judges over the coals in court when they try to mess with your right to an antenna.

On my next trip, he couldn't wait to tell me that they had added FOX news to their cable and several "guests" had been thanking him...he thanked me for the info!! It cannot be overstated just how big an earthquake Fox's first-place war ratings has caused in the network news industry. Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE (save for Fox News itself, of course) - had been saying for months and months that the moment the war started, that would be the end of Fox's winning streak and CNN would easily sail back into first place, for all the usual "reasons": More resources, more "impartial," better reputation, blah blah blah. But it didn't happen. This has cemented FNC's reputation permanently as a force to be reckoned with.

Why would you call FoxNews a grade C operation? They are not a first class news collection and reporting organization. They have mostly opinion shows, with Brit Hume being the only one that tries for straight news presentation, with cutie Shep Smith doing a kind of news magazine/MTV presentation of the news.
As you say, they do a lot of repeat shows and recycling ... because they are not a first class news collection, investigation and reporting organization, and thus have limited fare to present.
Read an edition of the L.A. Times if you want to see what I mean about wide ranging and more in depth news. Yes, they are flaming liberals and slanted, but that paper has resources that FOX News doesn't.
That is what I wish FOX would grow into, a real force and a real in-depth source of news.

Craig Allen, coordinator of broadcast news at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, said that kind of flag-waving plays well in Middle America. "There's nobody with a British accent, and they don't seem to be reporting other countries' perspectives." Not sure why a British accent is need to report the truth in the news
BUT
If this idiot paid attention and actually watched Fox News .. he would notice they do indeed have reporters with British accents ..
AND
GASP!!!... They even air Sky News Reports

paid streaming video....good idea. Fox would clean up on that.

**Since its launch in 1996, Fox has steadily gained viewership. In January of last year, Fox for the first time beat CNN in both prime time and daylong ratings figures.**
Good-bye CNN, good-bye!

**We're all walking commercials for FOX News, every time there's an opportunity. And it's not because it has great news coverage, because it really is a grade C operation. But it's because it has been the only place on TV you could hear our side of the story.**
And hear both sides of the story.

"It lacks skepticism," said Tom Rosenstiel, director of the Project for Excellence in Journalism.LOL! It does not! It is just that the skepticism is directed mostly to the left! BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!

The fact that they are not too great in actual reporting, yet still manage to win in ratings should tell CNN something.

"If we want you to have an opinion, we will give you one."
This should be added to the "tagline" post!!! Good one!
Best wishes... ;)

After 10 minutes of watching Dan Rather emphasize every negative aspect of the war, after 5 minutes of watching rancid BBC doom and gloom reports and 15 minutes of Aaron Brown's insufferable faux somber reports of the latest POW video.....I can't beleive these IDIOTS can't figure out why FOX is on top!! Like Al Jezeera, a lot of their veiwers probably now feel misled by not only the focus of their reporting, but the down-right anti-American propaganda....which put them on the wrong side when this turned into a great victory for the US.
They can call FOX biased all they want. At least FOX is usually on the right side of issues in the end.
The liberals are the one who feel really disillusioned right now.

Ratings aside, CNN lead anchor Aaron Brown said CNN's coverage would be viewed as historic because it has been broad and shown all sides of the story, including negative sentiments about the war from other parts of the world. Has Asshole Brown read his boss's admission to journalistic prostitution in the NY Times? Apparently not.
To: Pokey78
Good work Fox. Fox and Friends is my favorite. You just never know what you may hear on that show!
To: Pokey78
I'm shocked to see this in the AJC. Tis a pleasant surprise, but certainly still a surprise.
