I made a banner to hang on the side of the truck for the benefit of the Women in Black. They are deeply concerned about the welfare of children. The banner says: 15 YR OLD BOY CRUCIFIED IN WINDOW OF IRAQI PRISON - THE PEACE OF SADDAM. (The word Peace is represented by the Peace Sign). A Leftwing British MP was informed of this incident on a visit to Iraq and I read about it on the FREEREPUBLIC website.
Being a little late, I got the banner hung and decided to walk behind the Women as they had just started walking. Things seemed quieter this week. They got a few honks. I got a few honks and mostly waves and thumbs up. This time I also got a couple of F.U.'s, F.Wars's and finger salutes. Small price to pay, I should think.
Several young ladies on a side street started shouting,"America, America, Freedom, Freedom!" They were a block away and I could hear them just fine. The Firemen waved as they went by and I enjoyed the walk.
Once again, someone just couldn't keep silent. I guess the "God bless the troops..." & "St. Michael the Archangel, defend them in battle" signage offended one of them. "How pretentious!", she hissed, as she walked by me at the end of the march.
I feel humbled by the sacrifices our beautiful young people in the military are making for all of us, deluded socialists included. May God bless them and send them home soon.
Perfectly put!
Thanks for the the effort you made on their behalf, Flora.
Indeed. I am proud of you, too, Flora!!
