Interesting list. Ann Coulter is #4? I take it that even liberals think Michael Moore is loathesome, since any list of loathesome New Yorkers which does not even contain Hillary or her impeached rapist husband has got to have been composed by a liberal.

In the US, Moore is an annoying troll. Overseas, he's a legend.
The fact that he appeases the anti-Americanism is one thing.
The fact that he confirms for the (secretly envious) elitists the (mythical) underbelly ills that liberalism is based on is another.
What truly pisses me off, is when Euroweenies begin questioning me about what's wrong with America based on seeing his (fictitious) "documentary."

I can't tell who I detest more, Michael Moore or the idiot leftists who decided to award him an oscar. They misclassified it as a
documentary when in fact it was
pure fiction. (I read a critique of his movie which cited how it is steeped in misinformation, deception and marxist idealism).
He says Bush is the illegitimately elected President; I say that Moore is the holder of an illegitimate oscar for a documentary because his movie was not a documentary, it was pure fiction. Wrong category.
He is deserving of one form of recognition, however, that being his proclivity for making one wretch at the very sight of his disgusting image compounded by his inability to assimilate logic into his thought process and his blind devotion to marxist ideology. I detest this marxist creep and all of those leftist idiots who applaud him.

"...as having the enemy completely underestimate you..." Wouldn't that be misunderestimate? If we all use it enough, it may one day get in the dictionary. =:O misunderestimate
Pronunciation: miss-"&n-d&r-'es-t&-"mAt
Function: transitive verb
1 : to severely underestimate

"Mega Dung Moore" just might as well become a Hindu or Buddist. He has a permanent "red dot" on his forehead...but soap and water won't wash it away. It'll be following him for a long time.

After years of wondering just what exactly was wrong with him (i.e, why he acted the way he did), I finally figured out Michael Moore after his Oscars stunt.
Moore has literally made a career out of being a professional asshole.
To: MadIvan
Moore himself has said, "I'm a millionaire, I'm a multi-millionaire. I'm filthy rich. You know why I'm a multi-millionaire? 'Cause multi-millions like what I do. That's pretty good, isn't it?" Brings to mind the old saying (was it H.L. Mencken?) "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public." While I try to ignore the whole Michael Moore crappola, the thing that goads me is his being regarded as a "documentary" producer. He doesn't do documentaries -- he doesn't respect "the truth"... it's just his manipulations of the truth that come through in his "work" (crappola). When Hollywood comes up with an appropriate category for this kind of work (might I suggest "Hollywood Crappola"), then I'll start paying attention...
Gee, this is the first time I've replied in the FREEP and used "crappola" 3 times! Inspired by Michael Moore...

Agreed. I'm still trying to understand what type of woman would allow this creature to touch her. I'm feeling queasy.

the stunted ugliness of measuring the justness or otherwise of murder according to how one filled in one's ballot. That's the real Michael Moore. BUMP

This is one of the most HATEFUL Arse's I have ever seen . . .
Even in Flint, he was never a regular workin' stiff. He lasted one day on the assembly line. Other than that, he worked his way up through alternative radio shows and progressive magazines. Today, pushing 50 and working on a new film about the links between the Bush and bin Laden families, Moore knows there will always be a market for his shtick. He's a big whale in a small pond: the token funny man in an increasingly humourless Left. Off-camera, the act's not so funny. Here is his initial reaction to September 11, as posted on his website: "Many families have been devastated tonight. This just is not right. They did not deserve to die. If someone did this to get back at Bush, then they did so by killing thousands of people who DID NOT VOTE for him! Boston, New York, DC, and the planes' destination of California - these were places that voted AGAINST Bush!" So Mohammed Atta should have dive-bombed his jet into New Hampshire or Alabama?

"misunderestimate" Thanks for the excellent entry. It's not that far-fetched, either. Understand first appears in English around 900 AD. Misunderstand follows about 300 years later.
