Brunswick had another rally today, looks like over 250 people (1,000 if your a liberal). Nice crowd of people. The passersby were supportive as usual. The weather was warming up. There were alot of familar faces and repeat rallyers. Keep up the good work.

Great pictures!!

I love the "Caveat - Peaceniks are Anti-Bush, Not Anti-War" sign.

In Bangor today, I was standing next to a handsome, dignified vet (74 years old), when a car stopped in traffic at the lights.

A peacenik jumped out of his car and started shouting, "George Bush is ruining this country!"

My friend the vet jumped into the road, extended his middle finger in the international "can't we just all get along" gesture and shouted the peacenik down - "You're a coward," until the light changed and the peacenik was granted a reprieve.

It was wonderful.

Plus, I saw a lot of new faces today. And as usual, the response was overwhelmingly in favor of our troops.

One of our group had printed up hundreds of "Support our Troops" signs that were handed out to motorists stopped at the lights. They were all gone well before we left. He told me that last weekend 1,000 were passed out. Quite a few drove by today with the sign in the window.

We're winning the war on the home front as well. It's a good thing.

In Keyser, WV on Friday 400 turned out for a noon-time rally in support of the troops in Vietnam. This was not, as far as I know, a Freeper event, but rather just a manifestation of how that little town of 5 or 6 thousand feels. Of course, according to the last census, 17% of the living residents of that place are veterans, and the roll of honor by the courthouse is a long one. Bless 'em all.

There will be yet another Rally to Support The Troops, Sunday at 2:00 PM in Auburn.

Please bring your family and join this uplifting event, thanking and supporting all those who risk their lives in the defense of liberty, and the freedoms enjoyed by ALL Americans.

The starting location is on Center Street under the new overpass. I would park near Penny's or Shaw's near the street and walk down. Please use the crosswalks and walk lights.

Also please check the weather and dress accordingly. Besides, you can get out of the weather on the sidewalk under the bridge.

I figure if the troops can handle the sandstorms, rain, mud and bullets, I can handle a little rain.

I'll be there in rain gear if necessary.

We were there last week and got the usual positive response, we must keep it up.

Thanks to ozone for attending both the Brunswick and Auburn events.
