FDA OKs lotion to block chemical weapons (more detail, different article, than earlier one)

WASHINGTON, March 28 (UPI) -- The Food and Drug Administration Friday approved a new lotion that blocks the action of chemical weapons on skin for use by the U.S. military.

The lotion, called Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion or RSDL, "rapidly" neutralizes chemical weapons agents and renders them non-toxic, the FDA said.

I think this lotion is very helpful, they should make it available for civilians too.

I can think of one or two places I don't want to apply that lotion under ANY circumstances.

I work near a high-value target in Washington, D.C. We have been told to put together a "go pack" (emergency kit), etc. This lotion would make a nice addition.
