My two cents:

We need to keep the prayer going. In victory, we are the most vulnerable. Remember King Hezekiah, who went to the Lord in prayer when Jerusalem was attacked. The king prayed and they were miraclously delivered. Later, the king went to prayer when he was dying. After he was healed, he was most arrogant and showed off his wealth to the Babalonians. After his death, his son was the most evil king up to that point and lead the nation into captivity to the Babalonians, who remembered all the wealth Hezekiah showed off and took it.

We need to keep watch, especially when things seem to be going well.

I agree with your profound statements, "In victory, we are the most vulnerable. " and "We need to keep watch, especially when things seem to be going well." The scriptural example you give to illustrate this point is very well taken and instructive. Thank you.
