Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

Guess Kelly's unit is done pausing. He said they are moving and he can't say where. Can't be moving, Reuters reported a 4-6 day pause, could their info be wrong? /sarcasm..

Geraldo reported the other day that an Artesian well was found in western Iraq, and the military had already pumped several gazillion gallons out of it.

Wasn't much of a pause, was it? Dis-information campaigns are wonderful things.

Greg Kelly saying they are on a "major movement."
They're either finally getting relief from the notorious MREs, or Reuters call of a 4-6 day pause were horsesh!t.

I agree about their egos.
It doesn't matter, the henchman are working away and carrying on the evil plans.
I'm finding this web is woven tighter than I thought.

April 1. There is significant darkness for several days around that date, too.

"Reuters is fallible? Surely you jest. " No REALYY! I heard it on a CNN report from a reporter from Al-Jazeera, who was commenting on a story in the Washington Post, so it must be true! {;^)

Wasn't much of a pause, was it? Dis-information campaigns are wonderful things. Nothing like a little "pause and starvation" to bring the RG out into the open. They'd have to have figured that our pausing would allow them to consolidate and reinforce. Now that we see where they're headed, we can move to cut them off.

Actually, very early on when this first came out last night the report was referred to on Fox as coming from a Reuters reporter that was in Iraq. Now...that makes ya really wonder who the source was of this disinformation

Right. A Marston Mat. Its been in use since the beginning of aviation. It would seem to be just the thing for the Apaches. There is probably some bright boy who could even come up with a much lighter weight material that could do the same job since the mat's primary drawback is weight.
