Good Morning.
This is the Daily Thread of Operation Iraqi Freedom - LIVE THREAD.
It is designed for general conversation about the events of the day. In depth discussion of events should be left to individual threads - but links to the threads or other articles is highly encouraged. This allows us to stay abreast of the situation in general, while also providing a means of obtaining specific information.
Please have mercy on us dial up limited FReepers! Limit the big graphics, post links instead. A breif description of what the graphic is would help:
To all who helped this get started, thank you!
Special thanks to An.American.Expatriate for staring the daily threads, Mo1 for the screamer, the AdminMods for their tolerance, mhking for the video links, and, of course, Belly Girl...

On another note it was reported tonight our ships were running low on cruise missles and some were going to an undisclosed location to load up...also don't forget the Aircraft Carrier Nimitz and it's battle group left port several weeks ago for destination unknown and may be reaching the area (or near NK)

Did I say that? I hear nothing.

But, as high tech as we are... it would be a shame if some of our cruise missiles went off target and accidentally struck government buildings in Damascas and Tehran. We will apologize for the error of course.

I agree. Given the situation on the ground now, the decision whether to pause has to made on military grounds.
At this point, the political stuff is so much hindsight.

Add to that...the Iraqi troops are not supplied very well from what I have read. A few days will make a difference there.
We will have another 100,000 troops in theater within a few weeks with a few thousand arriving daily. I heard mention of the armored division in Germany being brought in also.

What is the delay from the Baghdad MSNBC Cam? I heard a boom like 7 minutes after FOX reported a hit in Central Baghdad. Can't be that long of a delay..can it?

Perfect setup for a MOAB entrance. You let them dig out and get cleaned up and then WHAM!!!! You kick them in the nuts.
Then you do it again the next day.
To: Green
Yeah..The whole FOX crew seems to be in good spirits tonight.
