A Support Our Troops Rally is being organized by local Placentia CA patriots. It will be held at the main intersection in Placentia on MONDAY 31 March at 5:15 PM.

Here are the details:

Date: Monday 31 March

Time: 5:15 PM

Location: Placentia CA - Kraemer & Yorba Linda Blvd

Rally Description: On Monday, March 31, many locals will be meeting from 5:15 PM until ?? for a morale rally. We will be wearing red, white and blue and waving flags at the corner of Kraemer and Yorba Linda Blvd. (Placentia El Torito parking lot). Please join us to display our support for our troops or honk as you drive by.

Message to Freepers: This is not an FR sponsored Rally but FR support is welcomed. Easiest way to get to Kraemer and Yorba Linda Blvd. is to take the 57 Freeway to Yorba Linda Blvd and go East about a mile. Bank of America and El Torito at the intersection. Yorba Linda Blvd. is about 2 miles North of the 91 Freeway.

I know that many homeless are Veterans from personal experience, because I met a LOT of them when I lived in San Francisco. A disproportionate number are Vietnam Veterans with post-traumatic-stress disorder. I have PTSD and I can identify on that level. This is part of the reason I became interested in pro-Veteran and pro-military activism. I don't know how but I would like to petition Congress to declare a national holiday specifically for Vietnam Veterans. They deserve at least that after the way they were treated when they came home by their young ignorant countrymen.
