If there are mass casulties at that mall, will Kuwait declare war against Iraq? Would any Arab league countries join them? (Doubtful)
My goodness, what in the hell is going on!

Wolf says it sounded like a thud. P-ter Jennings is talking in Q-wait?? Oh, sorry. You said thud. I thought it said dud!
To: AmericanInTokyo
to consider the intent (2 a.m.) I believe the intent was to find the right altitude/approach. I think this was a test, but who am I? I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

>Suddenly, Saddam loses all the PR advantage of the most recent market bombing in Baghdad.
I was a pic of the crater in the market 'bombing.' It looked about 2 feet deep. Maybe someone could add something useful here, but to me it was not a bomb or a cruise missile but an Iraqi shell.

this is why being 50 miles from baghdad isn't all its put up to be, they can fire missiles, they could easily put WMD in them. there is a long way to go in this war, a long way.
To: Aaron0617
My money is still on a car bomb. I'll wait until its official.

This and the fact that Syria and possibly other countries have infiltrated Iraq to fight against us leads me to believe that some of those countries would love to start a huge war.

Sanjay Gupta from CNN says its a car bomb. (in his opinion) The explosion came from the ground.

the media could care less what saddam does, they are shooting our POWs, and all you hear from CBS/ABC/NBC/CNN is about the market bombing.

So Brian is just reporting off of another tv station? He sure is earning his pay over there.LOL
He is two floors below Don Teague who is on duty on the roof. BTW, Brian Williams and General Downing spent about 36 hours out in that sand storm after the CH-47 they were riding in took a hit. Plus he is a NASCAR fan. Can't be all bad.
