The Professor has a new anus, but I predict that it will reject him in a day or two.

The leftists really don't like Fox News! This is from unitedforpeace.org:

Protets [sic] Fox News Channel's War Coverage

Thursday, April 3rd 2003 12 Noon
Washington, DC

Fox News Channel is the most pro-war television station [Perhaps they meant 'network'] in the United States. While claiming to be “fair and balanced”, Fox actually makes no attempt to be either one. Rather than reporting the news, Fox cheerleads for the Pentagon. Rather than reporting the reality of the war in Iraq, Fox glorifies the warriors and underplays the human cost of war.

Fox has also aggressively attacked the peace movement. In just the last few days, Fox’s Bill O’Reilly proposed that anti-war protesters be arrested as terrorists, and Fox made fun of peace activists as they staged a die-in in New York City. This is not journalism, it is propaganda.

CALL TO ACTION

Join Global Exchange, CodePink, and Media Alliance in organizing protests outside of Fox affiliates throughout the country. Insist that Fox report the reality of war, including information and in-depth stories about civilian and military casualties. Also insist that Fox News Channel balance its coverage by interviewing people who oppose the U.S. war policy. Tell us about your actions by calling 415-575-5555 or emailing peace@globalexchange.org.

As Jennings said he agreed with Wallace, several soldiers in the room seemed to regard the two of them with horror.

As should every human being!

The saddest thing about Cavuto's response is that every word is true and that this Prof isn't some one in a million freak. How can any American become so profoundly distorted? What goes into making this kind of HATE filled worm? Pure Evil as far as I'm concerned.

When people can express themselves that well with words, they are never the ones who have the coronary - it's the ones who feel that way and cannot express it that have the trouble

There are some things that can only be expressed by my hands around some jerk's throat. Words just can't bring about that eye-bulging, blackened tongue effect I'm after.

OR ... FLUNKING anyone who disagrees with them.

Here I disagree. I argue with my commie profs till I have them nearly in tears (seriously), and none of them has ever dared give me a bad grade. I suspect they think, as a former military member, that I know some secret, terrifying Vulcan death grip that could leave them cooling in a deserted stairwell with no one the wiser. They're an effeminate bunch, as you know.

But that's just been my experience so far. It wouldn't surprise me to find profs flunking those who refuse to be programmed properly.

Glad to hear you're so bold! I've just heard my son and daughter-in-law talking about their professors. My son finished up through the external degree program, and he seemed to draw more conservative professors that way.

Yea, Mon; I saw that too, and gave him a good lusty "HU-AH!" for it, too!

This is the second time this week I've seen him come out of his box blazing for glory; this may have been the best.

You know, I've never given Neil Cavuto the time of day nor much particular notice up 'till now; he was just the "Economy" guy, and I've never found that subject terribly facinating for some reason. But lately he's been like a chubby little gopher that suddenly leaps out of his hole in the ground and bites a lion on the butt with a roar!

He ripped this effite academic snob a new one with the tactical eloquence of a true Master; why, Rush Limbaugh would be proud of him! He took the exact sentiments I've held in my heart for these hypereducated Liberal idiots and gave them vent far better than I could - and I've been known to turn a word or two.

When this cute, fluffy, Bean-Counting Teddy-Bearish sort of chappie gets a hair strung accross his tush and some idiot sets it on fire, he waxes AWESOME!!!

This Yankee crumudgeon has gained a sudden and profound - not to mention rather unexpected - respect for Mr. Cavuto.
The heart of a true American Patriot beats, and burns, in the bosom of this bean-counter... and we've just gotta love it!

And I would not mind at all seeing him moving up in the FOX News empire. He's certainly got potential!

It's too bad it's considered bad form (and probably against his contract and company policy) to mention his salary on-air. Becuase it would have been great to see Neil end this with:
"By the way, Pro-FESS-or, I'm famous, making $500,000 a year [or whatever], and at the top of my profession. You're stuck in an office smaller than my bathroom, making one-tenth of what I do, and having one one-thousandth the effect. So which of us is the REAL journalist, you jackass?"

It's Patrick Henry Time again:

"Pacifists are among the most immoral of men.
They make no distinction between aggression and defense.
Therefore, pacifism is one of the greatest allies an aggressor can have!"

By Neil Cavuto

I knew this was bound to happen: An irate journalism professor calling me a disgrace to my profession.

Since my response is not polite, I won't use this guy's name. But I will tell you he teaches at an Ivy League school.

Now, let me quote:

"Mr. Cavuto, please remember you are a journalist. You're supposed to be impartial. Your obvious support of U.S. and coalition troops and your rah-rah patriotism is an insult to hard-working reporters everywhere. You have no right having a show and even less right calling yourself a journalist."

Well, professor, get over it.

You might have a problem thanking troops defending your right to be the obnoxious, pontificating jerk that you are, but I don't.

You might have reservations about calling this country great, but I don't.

And you might have doubts about showing your partiality to the flag, but I don't.

There's nothing wrong with taking sides here, professor. But there's everything wrong with you not even making the distinction. I can love my country and my job at the same time. It is possible, you know.

You see no difference between a government that oppresses people and one that does not, but I do.

You see no difference between soldiers who use women and children as shields, but I do.

And you see no difference between forces trying to liberate a country and those keeping it in the Stone Age, but I do.

I'm not sure what runs through your veins, professor, but something tells me it's ice. Too cold to appreciate the rights you take for granted. And colder still to acknowledge the men and women fighting for your right to be the callous elitist you are.

So am I slanted and biased? You damn well bet, professor.

I'm more in favor of a system that let's me say what I'm saying here than one that'd kill me for doing the same thing over there.

You have the right to be the self-absorbed, condescending imbecile you apparently are and I have the right to tell you that. You didn't give me that right, professor. My country did.

You say I wear my biases on my sleeve. Well, better that than pretend you have none, but show them clearly in your work.

You're a lie, a fraud and an ingrate. Too clueless to appreciate the country that gives you the right to be the Ivy League intellectual Lilliputian you are. And too selfish to be grateful that in this country, even your type can find work.

Watch Neil Cavuto's Common Sense weekdays at 4 p.m. ET on Your World with Cavuto.
