FOX NEWS "OUTS" Protesters!

Just a few moments ago, the morning crew at Fox News was interviewing a wounded soldier from the Army Hospital in Germany and they showed him some footage of the couple dozen "die-in" protesters on Fifth Avenue in New York to get his reaction.
When they set it up, the reporterette said, "You've got to keep in mind, Sargeant, that this group is organized by 'Anarchists and Communists,' 'The International Socialist Organization,' and 'Psycho Therapists against War.'" All three reporters took a shot at the inane, professionally-organized protest and the sargeant just shrugged and said somehing to the effect of "well we're fighting for their right to voice their opinion; just don't take it out on the soldiers is all I have to say." Very classy.
Then good ol' Fred Thompson came on a few minutes later and they "outed the protesters" again! They showed his commercial and talked a bit about how there seemed to be as many photographers as protesters and that it was the same old crowd we've been identifying here at FR since February 15. Fred did a great job articulating why and how the American people should frame these "world-wide" protests. I really appreciated what they said because I've been trying to get the word out at my university. I hope the mainstream media starts to "frame the protests" the way Fox News did . . . (but I'm not holding my breath!)

Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it. They can express their opinion by writing a letter to their congress person or to The New York Times. They don't have to screw up traffic all over New York and keep people like me from getting to work on time. (Well, that's what I told my boss.) Not to mention the cost to NYC taxpayers and the distraction that endangers lives.

Lets also not forget, the right to protest is exactly what those solders are fighting for. Just because we might not agree with there opinion, doesn't mean they should not be able to express it.
Lets also not forget, YOUR rights end where MINE begin!
(Example) My right to come & go as I please...doesn't mean you can stop me from driving down a street because you want to act like a child & "die" in my way.

I asked about the "both sides" comment, too. We'll see if we get an answer, won't we?
The old "everbody does it" argument. Now where have we heard that before?

You don't have a right to the media. When you buy your own corporation, talk to me.
However, you can protest and scream all you want.

Many are the old drug ridden and disease ridden anti America hippies from their Glory days of the 1960/70's.
I prefer to call them the Renta Mobbers left over from Jane Fonda's Renta Mobbers.
The younger ones are the result of our left wing NEA teachers and of course the left maggot professors in every college/university in America.
So who has been funding these renta mobbers and coordinating these on cue street scenes with the Renta Mobbers?
How about the Opecker Killer Thugs like Saddam and the murdering mullahs in charge of Iran? Of course don't forget the Wahhabi Opecker Princes of Saudi Arabia.

They were getting alot of exposure for their protests and instead of being greatful to the media for giving them that exposure - they turned on them!I haven't heard anything about that....care to elaborate?
To: TPartyType
What is missing in all media reports IMHO is the fact that these Fascist/Commie/Socialist/Evil Dums are demonstrating FOR Genocide, WMD,Torture, Starvation and Gold filled Palaces. They are the same types that demonstrated against America entering WWII, let the Germans take care of the problem. Jews being rounded up and gassed. OH Well, that's not our problem. These people make me sick to my stomach.

Kudos to Fox News for exposing the Pro-Saddam Protestors (which are what they really are).
By not revealing their ties and true motives, it is being dishonest
If they were truly anti-war and pro-peace, they would have been protesting Saddam for years

No one is saying they CAN'T do it. The discussion is whether they SHOULD do it. And what consequences they should pay for it.
Also, if you're supporting the overturning of the country I love, I'm not sure you shouldn't lose your rights. The constitution is not a suicide pact.

DUer or CINO (Conservative in Name Only) chigung signed up 2003-01-17, serving as one of Soddomite's Fedayeen!
Peaceful protests are fine. Organized Renta Mobbers financed by Answer and other fronts of the rich Opecker killer/thugs are not protesters. They are the Islamokazis of America supporting Jihad in America and killer thugs in the Middle East!

Horse hockey.
The ratings came in, and guess who won again?
Can't make money if nobody watches. They are still trying to recover from 9/11, so they are getting with the program for $$$.

Its owned by the same company that has put out such "quality programming" as "Married with children", "Celebrity Boxing", and "Who wants to marry a millionaire". Care to list some of the high quality programming of the other networks?...I didn't think so.

"thank God for Fox News!!!"
Absolutely, especially when all the other choices are anti-American.

Anyone notice that these protests are taking place mainly in very left-wing areas?
In most of America, these far-left America-haters would be run out of town. The pro-Saddam protests in Orlando have been quite small...while the pro-US protests have been larger

Yep. I basically only catch them as I put on my shoes for work (hey -- it's 5:15 am). But I've appreciated touches like that; this one particularly gladdened my heart. Then there was a time when either two or three of them were taking on another apparent team member there, who happened to be black (as the expression goes). The latter was saying that the US had to persuade everyone in the world to agree with us before we did anything. The others begged to differ.
