What is to be thought of it depends on whether the kids are pro-war or anti-war. If they are anti-war, then this just shows that those opposed to the war are typical wanna-be "nonconformists", rebelling not for intelligent reasons but just so that they can be "different". If they are pro-war, then this is proof that people of all walks of life are willing to stand up for what is right, and that we shouldn't judge someone simply based upon their appearance.
