GENEVA (AP) - A resolution presented Wednesday to the top U.N. human rights body does not include a condemnation of Cuba's record, a rare move that immediately drew protests from rights campaigners.
The activist groups charged that just last week Cuba arrested scores of dissidents, accusing them of conspiring with American diplomats in Cuba to encourage opposition to the communist government.

Cuba is Europe's new 'cool' vacation resort. It's cheap for them to travel there and get laid and they get to flip off the US at the same time.

Why is the human rights commision in Geneva? Are they tired of partying in NY. WE have a big bldg. here I'm sure they could find room.

This is just the first step. With Libya chairing, the next move is take the Islamic government of Sudan off the hook for twenty years of human rights violations and a genocide that has cost the lives of more than 2 million Southern Sudanese.
