Unilever, a Dutch Company, owns Lipton Tea...sponsor of the Dixie Chicks TOP OF THE WORLD tour.
Since the anti-Bush remarks of Natalie Maines, LIpton Tea has been innundated with complaints and have thus made their website "bulletproof"...you cannot contact them.
However, their parent company, Unilever does have a webform for comments. Click on the link above, or HERE to send a message to UNILEVER.
TOPICS: Activism/Chapters; War on Terror

I think this is getting outta hand. If enough people boycott the Chicks, Lipton will drop them on their own. I agree the Chicks are anti-American bimbos, but their comments are hardly worth losing sleep over.

By the way, Unilever also owns Ben & Jerry's ice cream.
That's right, you clueless filthy hippies. That quart of Cherry Garcia you're scarfing was made by a giant multinational corporation.

I could not believe my eyes when I saw CMT (Country Music Television) is still airing Dixie Chicks. Perhaps you'd like to join me in expressing your opinion at their web site:

What a spurious boycott. Boycott it because Lipton is terrible tea not because they have some tenuous link with someone who il-advisedly spoke their mind.

I sent an email to Lipton, late last week. Does anyone know if they are back from tour? I still can't imagine anyone after the thousands of lives lost on 9/11, making a disparaging statement in europe, against the president of our country.

No Lipton for me!, and BTW Red Rose tea is made in Canada so I won't be drinking that either, not that it's a big seller in the US,

Thanks for the CMT post ...just sent them a note.
Judging from the comments, we have some naysayers here, too.
I believe we need to put our FULL EFFORT into stamping out the anti-American view..here in America. It is the least we can do for our troops who are bleeding and dying to liberate Iraq and stop the murderous dictator.
Naysayers check out www.democraticunderground.com Your negative views will be WELCOMED there....

"We buy a lot of Lipton tea" I grew up on it. There's nothing better than dipping a hard roll and butter into a cup of hot Lipton's Tea. I guess I could do without it for sure....but I think they'll just drop the Chicks rather than lose me.
