THIS JUST IN: "With the American public firmly behind President Bush
Zogby is now forced to only call employees at the State Dept. and illegal aliens
to support his fixed biased polls.

Al Gore is the Democrats' best hope to unseat George W. Bush.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh Lordy, thanks for the early morning belly laugh!

"More than 51 million Americans cast their vote for him, giving him the second largest vote total in U.S. history, notes the PR Newswire release reporting Zogby's poll results."

This is the sort of dense thinking that helps hold the Democrats back. Put simply, there were a lot more voters in 2000 than there ever were before in rapidly growing America. George W. Bush is only slightly behind as the third biggest vote-getter in history, and Ronald Reagan (in 1984) was the biggest with more than 54 million votes). The problem with this rationale is that 2000 was more or less a 2-way race, with the third party candidates having to split less than 4% of the vote amongst themselves (Nader, Buchanan, etc.)

To fully understand this, one must realise that Gore received only 48.4% of the popular vote, which was less than the 49.2% of the popular vote that Bill Clinton received in 1996. It all boiled down to turnout.

By the way, on the article as a whole, I believe that Al Gore is whistling Dixie if he thinks he's going to become President one day.

But I thought HILLARY would not ALLOW Gore to run?

If that's true, case closed. Gore cannot run!

If this isn't an April's fool joke, it ought to be! Al Gore was just as disdainful of the military during his stint in the White House as were the Clintons. He also tried to dump their votes on the ruse that those absentee ballots "did not have post marks". Remember how Mr. Environmentalist had that river flooded so his boat wouldn’t scrape bottom, using valuable water...Algore is like Hillary, you don’t see the real person, he is as mean spirited as she is in private and he places Americans and America last on his list of objectives, first of which is power and wealth for himself.

This Zogby poll has ruined my day!

Demand Hillary Clinton be removed from the Armed Services Committee...she is a security rist!

Concluded pollster John Zogby: "Gore surfaces as the leading contender."

So crap floats. Actually, Hillary might be happy to see Al sacrifice himself in 2004, so she could come in as party redeemer in 2008.
