For the simple purpose of embarassing Michael Moore as an obese hypocrite, we are creating a petition for Moore to go on a hunger strike to demonstrate his seriousness as a social activist. True activists like Gandhi and Chavez went on hunger strikes to prove their sincerity. The notion of Moore going on a hunger strike is unthinkable. He doesn't know the meaning of the word sacrifice.
*There were some that wanted to go the other direction of sending Moore more high-cholesterol foods so that he has a coronary. I can understand why this would be a good inside joke on Free Republic, but I want this petition to be widespread and I just think some might find the concept of death in mind as somewhat hateful. So do sign this petition. After Moore criticized the President (while we're at war), he justified it afterwards by saying "I'm an American." I'd like to change the nature of the discussion of what it means to be patriotic, and I think highlighting Moore's lack of sacrifice for his convictions and lack of restraint will do just that.

Michael Moore is the producer of leftist "crockumentaries" such as 'Bowling of Columbine', a documentary so factually flawed that even its title is based on a false urban legend. The obese movie producer recently used his acceptance speech at the Oscars to bash President Bush and the American effort to liberate the Iraqi people, saying "We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it is the fiction of duct tape or the fiction of orange alerts, we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush!". Moore was booed loudly.
Why should we request that Moore go on a hunger strike?
Moore recently said, 'The majority of Americans do not want to see our young boys killed, and the majority of people didn't vote for the man sitting in the White House, and I'll keep saying that until he's out of there.' If the 300 lb. Moore is honest about his outrage against the President and America's liberation of the Iraqi people, he should prove the point by his deeds not his words. No more hot air, Mr. Moore. It's time to put up or shut up. In order to determine the sincerity of Moore's support for America's enemies, we request that he go on a hunger strike immediately.
The request could be summed up this way: Is this 300 pound oaf, known for his miserable personal hygeine, also a hypocrite or is he willing to demonstrate the courage of his convictions by making what for him would be the ultimate sacrifice? Patriotism is about more than just rights and entitlements, it is also about responsibility and duty. It means sacrifice and restraint. Going on a hunger strike will be no small feat. It will require the restraint that Moore so obviously lacks, as evinced both by his bulging waistline and his harsh anti-american vitriol while our troops are in harm's way. We are asking Moore to do more than talk. If he wants to convince us that he is sincere about the depths of America's depravity, he should make what to him would be the greatest sacrifice- the tasty treats. No more Rice Krispie squares, Mr. Moore. No more pork chops. And all the food that Moore would have otherwise devoured will be sent to innocent Iraqis suffering under the man Moore is defending- Saddam Hussein. Michael Moore has gone to bat for Saddam Hussein, attacking America while we're at war. But is he willing to prove that he is more than a windbag and demonstrate his convictions by going on a hunger strike? We the people shall decide. After all, this is a democracy. Please sign this petition. Thank you.
