LMAO....When asked by a reporter about what some of the "military experts" were saying on the news...Rumsfeld responded (paraphrased) "this is a free country, I can't control what they say...now if this were Iraq, we could control it because they would be shot if they said something we didn't like" (remember his is the general feel of what he said, not his exact words)
Rush Limbaugh's comment was "Rumsfeld Dreams of Shooting Press Corps in Briefing"
LMAO....*sigh*....I think it's a vision we've all had!!!

I'd love to hear Rummy offer to drop these agenda driven reporters into Bagdad so they can ask Saddamn that very question.
Once these mediaholes get ugly at our press conferences, they should be skipped in the Q selection. They can go interview AlGore or XXX42 if they need what they want.

send it to NBC, I'm sure they'd be happy to do it as a SNL skit, it'd be hysterical

"...the freakiest looking human..."Hard to take your eyes off him, huh? :-)
From Joe E Brown's biography --
His trademark was his huge mouth, cavernous grin, and drawn-out yell.

HECK NO!
They'd turn it into some kind of political commentary.
Keep it here in house where it'd be appreciated.

Why shoot the press corp when he can effectively use "*sigh* Ops?"

I doubt it. I am having trouble getting through to someone I admire very much. I sent her an email and it didn't get through (relay denied). Since it was going to Jordan, I can see why that might be. I am hoping President Bush listens to her advice, as she has the right answers for solving the middle east problems. She is one of the most intelligent women I have listened to lately, and most immersed in the problems of the middle east on a diplomatic scale. And she is 100% right about what it will take to establish peace between the nations of the middle east.
