I think I heard on one of the TV networks that the "Red Line" was a line that extended from Karbala to Al Kut. The implication was that when we cross this line, they get out their CWs. If they try this, they will wish they hadn't.

True enough...I sure hope that front seater (gunner) was zeroing every thing out. I just thought it was odd that it took so long to getting around to destroying the acft. Seemed odd. Maybe they could put a loaud speaker on there that broadcasts the call to prayer before they smoke it :)

FNC had report earlier weather delayed fast mover that dropped JDAM on the Apache.

I like the call to prayer idea. Too bad they don't have a Mad Maxx switch on their helos for just that situation.
