The reason I am asking is due to the fact there are dozens of "peace" flyers posted all around the campus. Most of them show Iraqi children smiling and say "Wage War"

They must have done this during spring break. I ripped down a few.

Yep. If some of these folks would join up, it would free up some resources to send over there and actually do something. Of course, this little war will be over before they get trained, but we always need new military folks.

Joining up would be a _real_ protest against those antis. I won't hold my breath, though.

Sure, that's nice, I guess. But, I remember being that person's age, back in 1965. I wanted to do something, but couldn't figure out what to do. Then it came to me: Join up. So I dropped out of college and did just that. When my service was over, I went back and finished school.

Our military needs bright young people....just the kind that are going to college right now....politically savvy kids with all that energy. Now, I haven't checked. Maybe the recruiters are overwhelmed with all the eager young folks clamoring to join up, but I doubt it.

Posting flyers is nice, I guess...but there are better ways to serve.
