well, 5 years ago I lived in Medford - on Spring Street. If I still lived there I would be there with you.
Good for you!

I am a Medford High alum---class of 1958, and am with you in spirit. My husband and I have been attending rallies in Spokane. Go Medford!

Good for you both! Go, Medford!

I sold my condo in Medford at the end of October, and moved out of state. I have, though, just sent the heads-up on this up-coming rally to friends (real Americans ;-) who live in the Boston 'burbs. Talk about grassroots and networking, haha - FRee Republic is awesome. One of my friends works in Medford Square, and he told me he saw the one this past weekend. Although he had to work, he said (when I asked if he went/saw it), "It made me feel proud to be American!"

I have just sent an email to my brother who lives in Medford telling him that I hope he goes and takes his flag.
Networking through Free Republic is GREAT!!

I've only driven through Medford Square a few times and I find it confusing. Where exactly will you meet?

HeeHeeHee!!!
I still haven't come down off the "patriotic high" from Saturday morning, and now it's only Monday and we're talkin' 'bout the next one already!
Sure hope I can make it again -- I'll try and round up the troops again, as well...
Good thing we saved all the posters :+)

We'll be right in front of the Papa Ginos, the flags are on our side, the hags are on their side.

I love it, I'm addicted to it now more than ever I made a new sign last night. These war protesters have driven me a 29 year old man to a consumption of arts and crafts, what has this world become-LOL. Anyhow I'm so glad you guys enjoyed and came down to support the cause, hope to see you there, I'll think about larger areas if we grow this weekend. I do like our spot though the traffic turns over quite nicely there. Harvard square, Davis square and Copley square could all use a dose of Patriotism I feel.

Hi from Connecticut. We were thinking of Freeping the Boston 3/29 peace rally. Are you guys going to head there after your rally? Here is a good site to check out for "their" exact plans, and other upcoming events:
http://www.crows.net/peace.html "March 29. (SATURDAY)11:30 A.M. BOSTON. United for Justice With Peace is delighted to announce that a New England date has been set. We are pleased to invite you to a SPRING PEACE RALLY at the band stand on Boston Common, Saturday, MARCH 29 at 11:30 a.m.. after a short rally and some good music, the fully-permitted march will proceed down Beacon Street through Back Bay and back again to the Common on Boylston Street. But before the march returns to the Common, it will stop and all marchers will be invited to participate in a mass die-in. Like a Fenway Park "wave," we will lie down on the street to symbolize with our bodies the innocent civilian Iraqi deaths in this hasty and unnecessary war. Street theater will be part of the die-in.
The turn-out on March 29 (beginning at 11:30 AM) promises to be huge, with people organizing in their local communities across New England, but every voice and every body and every sign and every face counts as we seek to send an indisputable message that New England says NO to this war. Please participate. Come and bring your family and friends. Matt Connolly, Massachusetts Peace Action, Cambridge AFSC (617) 661 6130 """"""""""""
We are thinking of making the trip, and will try to round up more CT freepers. Are you guys IN? If the above doesn't motivate you, I don't know what will?
