He said the only thing he was going out there to do was blow up the bridges."That statement by his mother really stood out to me also.
We are trying to preserve bridges and as much of the infastructure as we possibly can.

Maybe, when he told his mother that he would be persecuted for being muslim, was a warning sign of what he was about to do. Either that, or it was a type of "self fulfilling prophesy"
Most of the people in the military know that we are bound by strict rules not to single anyone out (even the ones we should, imo) based on religion, race etc. That excuse don't fly! He's a traitor. If he thought it was right and bold for allah, why did he run away?
Your post is chillingly correct. Thanks for stating what many are thinking.

"He wouldn't try to take nobody's life," she said. "He's not like that. He did try to take somebody's life and he succeeded.
Give him over to his former squad for a grenade suppository and on to Baghdad.

I do believe that he's quickly heading to a firing squad, or a gallows. That was my thought (in reverse order of preference). Do they still hang 'em?

"He wouldn't try to take nobody's life," she said. Maybe somebody should tell Quran Bilal that a double negative is a positive.

One address for Mark Fidel Kools in Los Angeles is the Bilal Islamic Center, a collection of small buildings and mobile homes around a mosque that's under construction. Does this mean he lived in the mosque complex while he was a student at UC Davis?

Why would somebody with a double engineering degree from UC Davis join the Army as an enlisted man?

Maybe somebody should tell Quran Bilal that a double negative is a positive. Here's my favorite example of that:

Ain't gonna happen. Too politically sensitive (note how the Army and the press are suppressing the real story.) Court martial will be stateside.

"P.C."
Fast Court Martial followed by death by firing squad at sunrise tomorrow!

Why would somebody with a double engineering degree from UC Davis join the Army as an enlisted man? To go with the Army to the front and sabotage it.
When this POS learned he would not be allowed to go to the front, he took immediate action.
PC needs to be on the ashheap of history yesterday.

I'm not certain, but as I recall it depends upon the crime and the time. In peacetime it's the gallows. At War, if the offence was committed at the front it's the firing squad. If the offence was not at the front, the gallows.
I could be wrong.
Of course, with the PC Police, he could just be given a stern talking-to by Susan Sarandon.

I just read about this morning in a print edition paper, and of course it mentioned only his name...that was enough for me to connect two dots.

He wouldn't try to take nobody's life," his mother said. Well, at least she got that right, he tried to take the lives of some very good and brave people, not nobodies. It sounds like her son was a lot better educated than his mother.

I just spoke with Nick at Senator Frist's office after calling Senator Domenici's office:
Asan Akbar needs a court martial and a firing squad not the PC laundry and Johnny Cochran.

You've got it, "3) In time of war. Death or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct." I don't think there is much left for interpretation here. I think he'll be dealt with swiftly and severely.

Why would somebody with a double engineering degree from UC Davis join the Army as an enlisted man? That is a good question. With a different outlook this guy could have been living the American dream.
