Oscars provide platform for ‘Moore’ anti-American rhetoric

It was utterly despicable.
Next to ex-president Bill Clintons treasonous attacks on President Bush, Hollywoods number one Useful Idiot Michael Moores anti-Bush trash-fest was one of the most appalling abuses of free speech ever to be spewed out by a limousine liberal in recent years.
Despite actually winning Best Documentary for his fictitious movie, Bowling for Columbine which was reportedly laced with countless factual errors, Moore used his public platform to spout venomously anti-American rhetoric in an effort to further undermine Bush and the just war now going on in Iraq.
Imagine: The same country Moore hates so much is the very country that has given him countless opportunities that most Americans who truly love this nation only dream of having.
Thats some gratitude.
Moore not only shows unconscionable contempt toward our great president; hes shown unbelievable disdain for our great nation.
By doing so, Moore spits on the very ones who are now risking their own lives to protect the freedom of speech he so greatly enjoys: Our brave men and women in the Armed Forces.
Moores initial beef is that he adamantly refuses to believe that Bush was legitimately elected. Gore, in fact, was actually the one who tried to steal the election away from Bush through robbing over 10,000 votes for Bush from our American troops overseas who voted in absentia, as well as trying to stage other fraudulent voting coups.
But it should come as no surprise that Moore would want a clown like Gore to be in charge. After all, Gore represents everything Moore asserts.
Thankfully, however, Gore isnt running our country, let alone the war.
If Gore were, he would either drop a bomb and call it a day or be further strengthening Husseins efforts to stay in power like his former boss did, who is ultimately responsible for keeping Hussein and bin Laden in power.
If Moore shamelessly hates our great country so much, he needs to leave. Because, although America has given him so much to be thankful for, Moore still continues to spout his fascist statements to everyone who will listen.
But, judging by the surprisingly deafening sound of the boos that came forth upon Moore's acid drivel, not everyone is listening. Maybe there's hope for Tinseltown yet.
Ironically, Steve Martin closed the evening by telling our troops that the evening was for them.
To our men and women overseas watching, we are thinking of you and we hope you enjoyed the show, it is for you, good night, Martin said.
For an evening that was supposedly for them, Hollywood had a pathetic way of showing it. Lets hope our troops didnt witness Moores disgusting display of anti-Americanism and hate-mongering.
For someone who calls himself an American, thats some gratitude Moore showed.
No wonder the French loved his deplorable excuse for a film.
In fact, the jury at the Cannes Film Festival gave Moores piece of Communist and Marxist propaganda a 13-minute ovation.
Not since Gore Vidal and Norman Mailer have we seen such a successful export of anti-Americanism, wrote Andrew Sullivan in Londons Sunday Times.
Of Moores hacket job of a film, John Fund of the Wall Street Journal said Mr. Moore plays into all of the worst stereotypes and distortions about America.
In his "documentary," Moore blames America for the gun problem and moronically portrays the two teenage gun-wielding Columbine murderers as the victims.
When questioned about his controversial remarks at the Oscars, Moore labeled himself an American and said that every American had a right to say whatever they want.
But with freedom of speech, comes the responsibility, as well as the consequences for what is said.
And when that freedom undermines America and potentially jeopardizes our national security by giving further strength and sympathy to our enemies who only wish us harm, its no longer freedom.
Its treason.

Why is everyone getting bent over this guy?
He's a Know-Nothing with a serious complex.
I know the media is giving him press, and the Whollyweird bunch applaud his blovaitaing inanities, but I just cannot take someone whose attitude approaches the maturity level of a tired four year old seriously.

Where are the comments in the article about the number of boo's, hissing, and NOOOOOOOs that permeated his speech? They were loud and finally the orchestra drowned him out.
Most of the Oscars were very tastefully done and Moore just proved to the world what a joke he and some of his friends are. Vast majority of the audience did not stand but reacted either negatively or sat there stone faced.

That's ok...the Oscars were the worst ratings in history...down 23% from the previous year, which wasn't very good anyway.
Moore is an idiot, plain and simple; no one should even give him the time of day...a 250-grain bullet? Maybe, but not the time of day.

One factual error in the piece. Michael Moore didn't want Gore to become President. Gore was too "conservative" for Michael Moore, so he campaigned hard for Ralph Nader, perhaps even helping Nader take the votes in Florida, that gave the Presidency to George Bush.
That has to bite Moore in the ass every morning, don't ya think?

Moore can say what he likes. He's an ignoramus.
However, what annoys me is that his films are classified as documentaries when they are clearly not.

Moore got his start basing america in a self published pro-socialist magazine out of california.
The Dixie chix must be really grateful right about now for michael moore. (lest we forget their sponsor is
http://lipton.com feel free to write to them)
The only person moore cares about is moore. He screwed hollowood last night. (Peter O'Toole gave a class act thank you to the United States for the opportunities he has been afforded.) Moore claims he did it because he had the pulpit and he seized the opportunity. Moore only showed that given the opportunity he will expose his own egocentric opinion of himself.

Are you suggesting that Bush's people tried to supress the military votes?

I hate this SOB. They should drop him into the Marines First division and then videotape him wetting himself and blubbering about how sorry he is for his remarks.
